INTERNAL NAME: GM_CSGOCACHE


This is a port of the CSGO Bomb map, de_cache. The map was made by FMPONE with the help of PenE and Volcano. It was released for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive workshop, and subsequently chosen by Valve to be in several operations until it was permanently added to the game.

This map port was made with FMPONE's permission, so don't hesitate to visit his Steam Workshop to look at the rest of his work!

This map is located in Ukraine, right between the derelict nuclear plant of Chernobyl and the abandoned city of Pripyat. You will find several old hangars and rusty warehouses in an industrial complex where nature has started to take its rights.

I've adapted the map to GMod, which means the following:

- Fixed and added physical props all over the map
- Removed restrictive "clip" brushes meant for competitive fair-play
- Added access and added props to a few previously unaccessible areas, notably a warehouse, a playground, a small part of the railyard, and several alleyways.

- Dynamic shadows on many objects to make it look like CSGO

Why not make this map stand-alone/no game required like the others?

Because the filesize is way too large for the Workshop (450 MB!). Without the CSGO content, the map is only 150 MB. For this reason, I don't intend to make it stand-alone soon.
