Resource Browser 2

Description
A handy tool that lets you browse for various resources.

use rb_open to open the browser.

You may have to manually execute the autorun file to get this addon working on servers. Provided the server allows clientside lua files (sv_allowcslua 1), you should be able to do so with
lua_openscript_cl autorun/client/cl_resourcebrowser.lua

Hi Mods Main, you can use the official gmad tool to extract the contents of the addon quite easily and inspect the files yourself if you wish. No effort has been put into obfuscating the source code.

If you lack the technical know-how to do so then all I can offer are my assurances that it's perfectly safe. The amount of access an addon has to your computer is fairly limited, addons cannot for example read or write to files outside of your Garry's Mod directory. I also believe you can only write to text files.
If a developer wishes to gain more access to the computer they'd have to include a .dll addon, which I don't think can be uploaded to the workshop.

That being said I cannot guarantee that this addon even still works, we haven't updated it since 2017 and there may have been breaking updates to Garry's Mod since then.

I'm worried that this is a virus and can delete your files

Hey man, you ever thought of making a tool that would "unlock" advanced bones so you can pose advanced bones with the toolgun? Just an idea that would come in handy for us scene-makers out there who dont like the way that regular bones dont move with advanced ones...

In general, works better than the sound browser used by Wiremod - but random directories seem to contain the files of the GMod root directory. While these directories do exist (such as sound/synth), the console seems to output "Path does not exist or isn't a directory" for them.
It also lagspikes on seemingly any directory with a lot of files, so whenever these directory failures occur, there's a lagspike.
