UTFS Nike Class Frigate

The Nike class was developed by Black Comet Areospace in response to a UTF contract for a small to mid sized vessel to take deployment pressure off of other larger UTFS vessels. It features a complex multilayer composite armor, High thrust-to-weight ratio, and a good complement of missiles. While its rather weak on its own it can carry out patrol task satisfactorily. It can also readily serve as an escort in a Battlegroup as well as conduct ISR and orbital monitoring.
