For some reason I still cannot save this as a starbase. Am I not doing something right?

Ok it looks like the starbases have been fixed. They are back in the template so should be able to replace the standard space station. Looks like I will have to start building

Ok, it seems to be a bug from what I hear. Seems the save Starbase template is missing and the starbases made arn't showing in the Civ builder. Im sending a bug report to them and jumping on the forum. All who want to see your starbases either downloaded or created in the designer should do the same :pleased: Lets shake the pillars of Heaven! :D:

Ok, turns out for some ungodly known reason, saving as a Starbase isnt the same as a starbase template. So in effect you cant make a starbase? wtf! It seems half finished. I will shake a few trees and see what is going on.

Also. You have to replace each of the core bases with Terok Nor's sections in the Civ builder / Editor.

When creating in the Civ builder, dont forget to save as Race. From there if you want to edit, go to new game, select the race you saved and go to edit race. Then save once your done.I am not sure if it will update a game in progress or you have to start a new game with the new edit. Some one on the forum should know or if they read this to pop it in here. Also note I am yet to test out star bases ingame just yet. I will have to get to that. Again, if any one reading this knows for sure, feel free to add your bits but the above should work. If not, let me know, thanks :pleased:

I follow your instructions. When in the Civilization Builder under Fleets I select Starbases and I only have access to the core templaes. I go back to the Ship Designer and sure enough I can see them listed with starbase hulls but I cannot seem to find a way to get them as options in the civ builder

Sorry, you will need Crusade expansion to Save as space station. I'll add this to the description. Was not sure with the patch if the base game allows for it or not. Thanks :pleased:
