"All shark species that belong to the Galeocerdo genus have been recorded to be extinct except for the modern-day Tiger Shark. However, this brightly-colored, light-refracting fish has been spotted with extreme scarcity, and it is highly speculated to be an exceedingly close relative of Galeocerdo cuvier. Marine biologists, along with a wide range of ichthyologists, have begun to set out on sea voyages in search of the elusive predator, where it has been witnessed swimming in the shallow waters of the Cayman Islands. Experts believe that--compared to its cousin--this sub-species of Tiger Shark has evolved with a much more vivacious, blue pigment throughout its dermal denticles to adapt to the radiant, vivid cerulean hue of the Cayman Islands' waters."
