In this ageless valley
A new breed of warrior has been born
Born to rage against the silence of this ancient rocks
Born to tear apart the very fabric of the desert
Born to win, at any cost
The stage is set, a storm is coming
The land braces itself
Welcome to Pavlov

Seeing the comments I might have to give this mysterious map a try lol

Yeah, its just a texture on a low-poly mesh ( just 3 faces i think), then in blender i just animated the wings going up and down. Yeah its not the most advanced process but it works

Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply. :D
I'll see if I can do the same for a simple target in a shooting range.
Did you create the bird ?
IbuprofenAddict  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 10:58am
Thanks! Making the birds shootable was easy to do, just a simple blueprint for when event "ActorBeginOverlap" (for example when a bullet overlaps the bird) - set "Simulate physics" to True (this will also automatically stop any animation), and the bird will ragdoll down to the ground.

The only trouble i had with this is that to test your code you NEED TO TEST IT IN PAVLOV. For some reason when i tried to test my code in Unreal Editor it seams that any collsion/Overlap has no effect the bird. But that same code will work absolutly fine when actually running in Pavlov. Pretty sure this has something to do with the pavlov template interfering with Unreal

Any other questions just let me know!

Nice map man. I really like the birds you can shoot down. I'd love something like that in a shooting range map. Or in my Death Valley map. Was it hard to do ?
