Twinbreaker Mobile SAM

Description
Fulfilling your Air Defense needs. This tank launches homing missiles using the new Easy Lidar Homing Script.

This is a Vanilla build, NO MODS are required.

How To Use

1) Hop into cockpit.

2) Press Button #9 to start all computers.

3) Press Button #3 to View Targeting Camera.

4) Aim at target using mouse or controller (Rotors are slaved to mouse input by script).

5) Press Button #1 to Launch Missile.

6) Keep your crosshair aimed at the target until a locked-on sound effect is heard (4 short beeps). There are also flashing red lights beside the crosshair to indicate target locked-on.



Additional Notes: Rotor Turret, Vehicle Stabilization & Offset Aiming

1) Use Button #7 to toggle Turret Rotor Safety Lock for moving.

2) Use Button #5 to reduce turret sensitivity and Button #6 to increase sensitivity.

3) Use Toolbar 2 Button #5 to Lower Wheels and Toolbar 2 Button #6 to Heighten Wheels (For Stability).

4) When Wheels are Low enough, use Toolbar 2 Button #7 to Lock Landing Gears to the ground for Maximum Stability. Note: Locking to the ground for the first time may make the Turret unturnable. Don't worry, just Unlock and Lock again if this happens.

5) Use Button #2 to launch missile as Offset Mode. This mode will home to the locked-on point instead of the target's center. This is used to target specific points on a large and slow moving target (e.g. Helicarrier).



Reloading Missiles

1) Reloading requires a separate base setup with overhead welders. Use Toolbar 2 Button #1 to activate Missile Projectors, then drive under an overhead welder station (Not included and not available on my end. Someone else has to build it).

Script on my tank is customized for this build. You can use a more generic script which is easier to setup:

I'm interested in adapting your turret control script to one of my own creations. I've built a surface-to-space missile that's capable of killing a capital ship in one hit, and this would work great for the fire control director.
