Wolf Hawkfield

Description
Hailing from the snowy mountains of northern Canada is the legendary professional wrestler, Wolf Hawkfield!

Wolf Hawkfield was created by Sega for the revolutionary "Virtua Fighter" 3D fighting game series. His arsenal of moves is a fantastical array of hard-hitting American pro wrestling and brutal Japanese puro, and in Fire Pro his moveset has been lifted almost entirely from Wolf's actual in-game moves from his decades-long run in the series! Comes with full CPU Logic!

While Virtua Fighter may be a dormant franchise, that doesn't mean Wolf isn't ready to hit the ring in Fire Pro Wrestling World! "Wrestling is the ultimate sport!"

Sorry for being late, but as has been discussed earlier in these comments Jim Steele only wrestled as Wolf Hawkfield for a brief period of time to promote a different video game series. His points again as just what I have as my own personal use, but I don't mind if players alter points on their own save file.

I'm not heavily invested into the FPW creation community but I've always been upfront that if there's some kind of community concensused guideline on points and builds then I'd be happy to alter Wolf's points to conform to it. So if anyone does have anything like that, that'd be appreciated.

Well, he's not just a fictional video game wrestler. There was someone wrestling as him for years in Japan.

I asked before if anyone has suggestions about the points and right now his stats are just tailored to personal use. If you have any suggestions or a guideline about a good way to set up stats for a fictional video game wrestler, I'd appreciate it!

Not sure why he's at 303 points?!

Hello again! I've updated Wolf to include a modified second attire based on his appearance in the later games, specifically Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, so you now have the option to play as classic Arcade/VF1-2 era Wolf or modern VF5: FS Wolf! This really should have been included from the start, but you can see it now in the gallery and in-game if you've subscribed. I'd really like to create some of Wolf's wackier Final Showdown costume options, but many of them are too far beyond Fire Pro's limitations at this point. Hopefully in a future update?

If anyone has any suggestions on how to better improve Wolf's CPU Logic, I would be very glad to hear it. I've tried my best to create a competitive Wolf, but applying logic from a fictional video game wrestler has its own pitfalls. So any input would be appreciated, thank you!

I say 180 is more for the mid to upper mid card. Not sure about Wolf/Jim being that level. If I remember correctly, Vader was around 180 - 190 standard, but it was deceptive, since he had 10s in power and he was a power wrestler who could mess people up

Hey everyone, I hope you're all enjoying Wolf Hawkfield! I just put out an update to give him better looking elbow pads, but unfortunately I can't find the right Edit parts for better looking knee pads yet. Maybe in a later update!

Would there be any interest in re-specifying Wolf's stats to the 180 standard? I've seen a lot of Edits on the Workshop focused on that and there are online lobby settings for 180 point and under Edits, so I'm curious to know if any of you would be interested in that? He's currently a bit over 300 points because I was just maxing out his parameters/skills for my own personal use, but if there's a real interest in making him 180 I'll definitely listen!

A bit of an extra note: Virtua Fighter 1 was first released in the arcades in October of 1993, Jim Steele only appeared in AJPW in late 1994, with different names until 1997 where he got the Wolf Hawkfield gimmick to promote the Giant Gram video games (which also had Jeffrey McWild and Kage-maru from Virtua Fitghter as well). He reverted back to Jim Steele after the Pro Wrestling NOAH exodus.
