DFC Prometheous (Modded)

During the early moments of the war with the Imperium, the DFC quickly realized it was short of ships in its private fleet. Not only that, but supply shipments to the front lines were constantly being intercepted by the enemy, and adequate esscort could not be spared. the temporary solution was to refit several Theodore class supply ships with capital ship weapons.
Crude, but effective, the Prometheus is nothing special when it comes to maneuverability, and for a Heavy Frigate it is more on the light end as far as firepower goes, but it can take a fair beating for its size and configuration. Mixing these moddified cargo haulers in with the relativly defensless Theodores, the DFC started loosing fewer shipments, and began holding ground.

Notes: Funnily enough, I actually designed the Prometheous before the Theodore, but the overall design just doesn't make sense for a combat ship, nor do the twelve large cargo containers where a front line combatant of the same class would have closer to three, or even two.
