Description


Enhanced Audio Resources is a sound pack for the source engine that aims to completely overhaul the hl2_sound_misc_dir.vpk file that most games and mods that run the source engine run. The results? A new source engine experience.

The complete pack replaces over 1,400 base files to give your game a fresh new coat of paint. You can find a link to that at the top of the description.

The aim of this mod is to represent realism without changing the initial intent of the vanilla sounds.

they're not really "bad" actually but maybe reverse the audio to make it fit the hl2 lore

I would like a version with excluded sounds for some npcs because there's some mods that might be more accurate to valve's interpretation of sounds, for example a strider sound replacer or a combine footstep replacer (both exist.)
