Fixed the new Ancestors Sundial Trinket

- Trinket was not implemented properly
- Now is Balanced for Crimson court, providing only 25% stress resist at 100% light
- Stress healed reduce from 20% to 15%

Minor changes

- Added a new preview Icon
- smaller changes to localization
- removed a bug where Parry lvl 2 received less stun % than intended
- Blinding Parasite now grants 6 Speed if the Hero is afflicted

Context:
The Sunlight Warrior had to much agressive potential for a supporting-style class.
The Wrath of God Skill could decide battles within the first round depending on the enemy party, without much skillfulness to pull this of.
The Skill will be shifted in function from an aggressive high damage opener to a AOE CC Skill.
Its Function in the kit is changed from an ultimate abiliity to support style CC.
The skill is considerably stronger than other ccs but has high restrictions due to it's positioning.
The main idea is to shift the damage Potential from the sunlight warrior to his teammates by applying a CRT Received debuff.
By still maintaining the feeling of the original Wrath of the God of knocking down the enemys, the skill now relies on teammtes to turn on the damage potential.
Since "Force" need less Power to channel, the Debuff will now last only for 1 round and decreases less Speed.
The skill is still able to lasthit low life enemys, the CRT rating is reverted back to normal.

  • Now grants a huge Stress Resist Buff to afflicted Allies
  • Now cures Horror by scaling chances

The Praise the sun Ability made the Sunlight warrior to valuable as a primary Stress healer.
It was nerved to the Point that it was only usable 2 times, wich felt unhealthy for the ability.
Now it still maintain the spirit of stress prevention but in a different way.
There is now a chance to aoe HORROR heal, to counter specific enemys, without being OP overall.
The new Stress resist buff makes the Ability to a Stress Controll Ability revolving arounnd the virtue/afliction concept.
It creates synergy with the Undead Curse skill aswell as the sunlight maggot trinket.

Way of White

  • Now grants 1 Damage Block
  • Greatly decreased Protection Buff and Scaling to compensate Block
  • fixed a bug where lvl 5 of the skill could not be used from Position I

Decreased Protection Buff and Scaling
15/20/25/30/35 %PROT --> 5/7/10/12/15 % Prot

Context:
The new Block ability fits perfectly into the sunlight warriors kit. I found to place it most usefully on the block skill.
The Sunlight warrior now becommes an opportunistic blocker in contrast to the "long term block" of the MMA and Houndmaster.
While still maintaining a prot buff the Focus is now shifted on the first hit.


Sunlight Spear

Now ignores Protection

Base damage lowered from
-20% at all ranks --> -30/-27/-25/-23/-20 %DMG


Context:
As mentioned above, its another shift awy from an agressive approach of the class.
Also it fits more into the original lore of lighnings are designed to pierce the scales of the dragons.
The skill is now ment to use more carefully and its power is shhifted from the early to late game.
In summary the skill is much weaker early but becomes stronger in the lategame.

Dodge Roll

Now grants a -Crt% received Buff
-4/5/5/6/7 % crt received

Context:
A long deserved and fitting buff to the skill. it now counteracts the new crt received debuff of Parry.



Welcome to the Bonfire
  • Removed the ability to heal
  • Now heals STress on the whole party again
  • Now has a small chance to drop 2 or 3 Heal flasks

Context:
Even after 2 nerfs the skill was op. It was to close too the original Dark souls Bonfire ttotaly resetting a character.
Due to the removal of in combat stress heal. Welcome to the bonfire is now the Sunlight warriors stress healing tool.
The ability of healing is still there but in another form.
There is now the possibility to spawn up to 3 healing flasks instead of 1.
The chances of getting more than 1 are small though.

Undead Curse

- Changed Death blow resist
15% --> 20%

- Changed healing Amount
50% --> 60%

Context:
After a few requests from you the skill got buffed directly and indirectly.
First of all the death door cap on Sunlight warrior was normalized to 67%.
The skill now essentially pushes him to the perfect cap.
Since Welcome to the bonfire is no reliable heal tool anymore the healing aspect was buffed by 10%
Regard that the healing is done before the max helath gets decreased.
By the Praise the sun rework there is even more synergy by going into afflicted state.
The new Tearstone ring is especially designed to stress synergy with this Skill.


TRINKETS

- Changed the Rarity of "Bag full of Mossclumps" from common to very common
- Bag full of Mossclumps is only aquireable in Weald now
- Adapted the trinket prices to the base game (Sun edged medal is supposed to be worth more)
- Sunlightmedal now grants 50% instead of 30% bonus exp if the hero is virtued
- Solair's head now grants a 10% Prot Buff to Virtued Heroes

Crimson Court Trinket Changes

Sunseekers Talisman

Stress heal Done bonus now works only in camp
Now Provides 25% debuff chance
-40% move Resist --> -20% move Resist
Ranged Damage Bonus increased
15% Dmg Ranged --> 25% Dmg Ranged

Context: Due to the skill changes the bonuses got less powerfull overall.
Stress heal got nerved due to the Praise the sun changes.
Heal in Camp got nerved due to Welcome to the Bonfire changes.
Debuff chance was added to improve the new debuff of Emmit Force.
Ranged damge was snerved due to Sunlight Spear and Wrath of god dealing less Damage.
So the overall Power of this "toolbox" trinket got increased to counter this.


Set bonus changed
20% virtue change if torch above 50 --> 25% Virtue change if Torch above 50
25% Dmg when virtued --> 20% Dmg when Virtued
10% Prot When virtued --> 5% PROT when virtued

Context: This is a straight nerf. The virtue bonus made the Sunlight warrior to a unstopable force
The power is shifted from stats into virtue chance

Context: This is an approach to a anti Stress ancestor items.
The values are chosen very risky, if played correctlyy its the definitive anti stress item.
As for this the values are about to change after balance feedback.

Rhightfull Thrust

-Base CRT Scaling reduced

-Added Scaling crit on Stunned enemys

-Fixed a bug where lvl 5 had no CRT% vs stunned

The ability should reward players more to use it against stunned enemys

Sunlight Spear

- Base damage reduced by 10% at all levels

the ability to deal reliable damage from all positions made the class to versatile
especially in position 3.



Praise the Sun - REWORK

Praise the Sun is now only usable twice per combat
- Virtue Buff at high light duration increased from 3 rounds to 6 rounds
- Increased Light per cast
5/8/10/12/15 --> 10/12/15/17/20 Torch
- Stress heal now has a 100% chance
- Skill Mastery does not heal stress anymore
- Skill Mastery now applies a Speed buff on Virtued Heroes for 3 turns

Praise the sun was too good of a stalling ability, granting to much value in form of light and stress heal.
Now the ability can't be used to stall anymore, but delivers a reliable aoe stress heal (the amount per target is still smaller than houndmaster)
The self stress heal was to powerfull aswell. It is replaced by a very situational but strong buff.
If heroes have enough faith and become virtuous, they get courage on praising the sun, grantiing them a speed and Accuracy buff


CAMPING SKILLS

Welcome to the Bonfire

- Now only heals stress on self
- 30 overall stress heal

The overall power was to high in comparison to other anti ambush abilities, reducing 30 overall stress reduces the power level significantly without changing the group heal aspect

Undead Curse

- reduces less max hp
-20 --> -10 MAXHP

TRINKETS

Sun Edged Medal

- Now grants more resolve EXP
30% --> 40%
- Gold value reduced, still higher selling value than other very rare trinkets

Hornet Ring

- no longer lowers the Meele Damage
-10 --> -0 Melee Damage

- now lowers the stun resistance
-0 --> -20% Stun resistance

- slightly changed the image size of the ring

Adding and reducing combat stats at the same time felt counterintuitive, now its a trade damage for survivability
