Update v1.5 - Patch Notes!
  • New Item - The Traveling Pilgrim
    • A starving pilgrim has traveled to your ARK, and he offers many wonderful items in exchange for food.
    • The following items can now be crafted at the Traveling Pilgrim, and no longer have their own engrams: The Double-Barreled Poultry Pulverizer, The Deep Fryer
    • The pilgrim will trade hat/shirt skins, event Chibi, dino event candy, and other items from the vanilla Turkey Trials event.
  • New Item - Soy Bean Crops, Tofurkey Feasts
    • The Traveling Pilgrim will trade Soy Bean Seeds for Cooked Meat.
    • Soy Plants can be grown in Medium and Large Crop Plots
    • Soy Beans can be cooked into Tofurkey's in The Deep Fryer, which can be substituted for Turkey Carcasses in the Feast Recipes, for the vegan survivors.
  • Updates / Bugfixes
    • The Turkey is back! One of the Wildcard updates broke him -- poor guy. They should now properly spawn near Dodos.
    • Tamed adult Turkeys now have a "Slaughter" option in their multiuse wheel, which will give a feathered carcass. Breed up a bunch of Turkey's before the feast!
    • Turkeys can now be passive-tamed without needing to knock them out. They eat all the same foods as Dodos.
    • The "Feather Explosion" effect has been overhauled to use randomized feather meshes instead of the flat feather textures used before.
    • The "Stuffed" buff (from eating Feasts) now make the player's stomach expand based on how many stacks have been consumed. (INI configurable)
    • The craftable Dino Candy has been updated from the Turkey Trials version -- the Ascendent quality candy will now correctly show the available color regions, just like the other candies.
    • Added dropped item meshes for some items.
    • The "Feathered Carcasses" now have better drop physics. Be sure to grab it before it rolls away. =)
    • All items from the mod now have flavor text to show which items were added by the mod, and which items are part of the base game.
    • The Double-Barreled Poultry Pulverizer (Shotgun) now has a feather tied to the side of the barrel, to match it's icon and make it stand out from the regular shotgun.
    • The mod should be Macintosh and Linux compatible again.
  • New Configuration Options
    [AutumnFeast]
    StuffedBuffMaxDuration=86400.0
    FeastServingDuration=1800.0
    FeastServingStuffedEnabled=TRUE
    • "StuffedBuffMaxDuration" this setting is the maximum number of seconds that the Stuffed buff can be stacked to. By default, it's 24 hours if you get really stuffed.
    • "FeastServingDuration" is the number of seconds that each Feast Serving adds to the Stuffed buff. By default, this is 30 minutes per Feast Serving.
    • "FeastServingStuffedEnabled" enables/disables the bloated stomach effect from the Stuffed buff.

Update v1.4 - Patch Notes!
  • The Double-Barreled Poultry Pulverizer has been overhauled to be more accurate/useful. The default shotgun has a tendacy to miss and be frustrating, so I manually programmed my own pellet-spray mechanics because I've lost control of my life. The range has been updated to 8000 units (~25 foundations), and the crosshairs have been updated to represent the actual firing spread.
  • Turkey spawns have been updated to not conflict with the "Super Turkeys" -- both regular and super turkeys will now spawn together without issue.
  • The exploding feathers effect now disolves away over time, rather than the feathers instantly dissappearing.
  • Fixed a bug where the regular Turkeys would occasionally lay a Dodo Egg instead of a Turkey Egg.
  • Eating a "Feast Serving" now properly rewards the player with a Wishbone that can be used during the event to buy recipes from the vanilla Cooking Pot.
  • Reduced the mod install size by about 50%.

Update: 8 Mar, 2018 @ 1:45am

Update v1.3 - Patch Notes!
  • The Double-Barreled Poultry Pulverizer will now insta-gib Ichthyornis' (those thieving jerks)!
If the Ichthyornis is shot while carrying a stolen item, that item is automatically returned to the player's inventory.
  • Turkey spawns have been reduced again to make them feel more rare/unique, and less of a pest.

Update: 4 Mar, 2018 @ 1:54am

Update v1.2.1 - Patch Notes!
  • Recooked the mod to fix issue where Autumn Feasts did not require Stuffing to craft.

Update: 23 Feb, 2018 @ 8:20am

Update v1.2 - Patch Notes!
  • The Double-Barreled Poultry Pulverizer has been updated/fixed: Will now correctly only insta-gib wild Argents, Terrorbirds, Dodos, and Turkeys that have no torpor, and are not being tamed.
  • Turkey spawns have been reduced by roughly 50%, due to over-population. Will likely increase the spawn rates during the next Thanksgiving holiday season.
  • Feast Plates size reduced by 50%.
  • New Item: Stuffing. Crafted from 2x of each advanced crop, and 10x of each editble berry. Once crafted, this item does not spoil.
  • Feasts have been updated to require "Stuffing" instead of each crop/berry, for the sake of simplicity and storage.
  • The "Deep Frier" typo has been correctly updated to "Deep Fryer".
  • The Deep Fryer now uses a crafting queue, so that players can see the quantity that's being crafted, and clear the queue if they want.

Update: 25 Nov, 2017 @ 1:19am

Update v1.1 - Patch Notes!
  • The Double-Barreled Poultry Pulverizer has been significantly overhauled:
    • Accuracy and range has been drastically improved.
    • Now automatically reloads when you fire the last shot.
    • Will correctly work on Dodos, Turkeys, Terror Birds, and Argents -- even if another mod has remapped them, such as Classic Flyers, etc.
  • Feast Plates will always place flat on the ground, and will no longer disappear.
  • The Deep Frier and the Feast Plates can now be picked up (via the wheel menu) if you want to move them.
  • The Turkeys now make Turkey sounds, instead of Dodo sounds.
