To compensate for the longer falling distance, that might potentially causing physics randomness problems due to the ball bouncing around with great vigor, an excursion funnel was added to guide the edgeless safety cube safely onto the edgeless safety cube receptable. Automatic safety systems are engaged to ensure that the funnel is only activated when necessary.
