Kolmar is now friends with Vorstag (in Markarth) and an aquaintance of Uthgerd the Unbroken (in Whiterun). Vorstag should show up at the wedding (on Kolmar's side) if the player marries Kolmar, and Kolmar should show up (on Vorstag's side) if the player marries Vorstag.
