Version is 7.4.74

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Compatibility update with the latest version of Conan Exiles (now with a proper version of the devkit)

  • Added new building tags for the Pyramid set found in the Bazaar (for Green Arrows and Overlaps). Added missing building tags for other various Bazaar related building pieces that I was missing before (corner stairs, etc).

  • Minor fixes (mostly log related, but may have only been in the Devkit to begin with)

  • Once again separated out the collision settings. I was made aware of instances where it would come up that the player would like it enabled and the build anywhere setting would be turned off.

  • Features that were disabled in the band aid fix (in version 7.4.73) are once again enabled for use.

  • Improved the Wall Placeable Tilt/Rotate feature so that even if the placeable is physically set to not do those things, it will anyways with the LBPR toggle set for it on (Allow Pitch and Tilt on Wall Placeables)

Version is 7.4.73

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Temp fix to restore deleting and pick up

    - TLDR, live and devkit versions don't match up. Efforts were made by myself and Funcom to band aid fix it, but ultimately wasn't able to fully solve the problem. Will need an updated devkit to fully fix it

For now, the following features are disabled and won't work (they are still in the UI, they just don't do anything)

    - Tilt/Ptich Features
    - Disabling of the ghost material when building

Version is 7.4.72

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Compatibility update with the latest version of Conan Exiles

  • The Disable Checks for Walkable Floor setting should now bypass all known checks for Walkable Floor. But be advised, this does mean placing in very unordinary locations will be possible.

  • Re-enabled the Allow Overlapping (Followers) option. This should allow Follower Overlapping in all known checks for Overlapping (yes, that means you can place Followers in very unordinary locations). This option is disabled by default.

  • Set the Bypass Collision Check for Building & Follower Toggles to be disabled unless the Allow to Build/Place Follower Anywhere Toggles are also enabled to help make it more clear they are reliant on those settings.

  • Set Altars to be the only placeable that will adhere to the "Allow Altars to be placed Close Together" setting.

Back end, Altars and a small amount of other placeables use the Exclusive Placement Sphere setting. When I first created the setting, only Altars used it. Now there is a growing number of other placeables that do. To avoid confusion, I've set it so only Altars will use this setting for the time being.

Additions
  • Created a work around for tall Followers that gave the "Must be Placed on Walkable Floor" error. The Follower will still show as if its being placed halfway into the ground, but it should place them. The Toggle is set to on by default. Pending feedback and no issues found, the toggle could potentially be removed entirely and just have this as a general feature of LBPR. Credit to Xevyr for the work around.

Version is 7.4.71

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Added the new building tags that came with the new building set (sets?) that are found in the Bazaar. This will make the LBPR arrow show up and apply LBPR custom overlaps correctly to those sets.

Note: The Lost Dungeon Door Frame is missing its Gameplay tag, I have added a Green Arrow through old methods but custom overlaps will not be working for the time being until Funcom fixes it.

  • Fixed custom building tags that were removed from the mod controller for unknown reasons

Version is 7.4.7

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Compatibility update with the latest version of Conan Exiles

Additions
  • Tilt and Pitch settings have changed in this version
    • There is a new toggle for tilt/pitch on wall items (admin)

    • There is a different/new toggle for bypassing tilt/pitch (admin). Enabling this setting will reveal client settings for bypassing tilt/pitch. This will allow players to individually set how much they want to exceed the vanilla caps on tilt/pitch as desired.

    • There is a new setting that impacts the client settings for tilt/pitch in that an admin can set a maximum value on what they want to allow their players to use. For example, vanilla tilt/pitch is 30 degrees. An admin could set the maximum value to 60 degrees, thus preventing client players from going above that value. Alternatively, an admin could set the maximum value to 180 degrees, thus allowing the maximum amount of freedom as the player (client) wants.

  • There have been back end changes that will allow Arrow and Custom Overlaps to inherit their instructions based on building tags. This system will allow us to no longer require acquiring individual blueprint names for various mods and official updates. This means that so long as the buildings are set up right on the back end with a proper building tag, LBPR will automatically pick it up.

We also retained our old system for older mods that have not moved to the newer (and better) building tag system. As for any mods that add custom tags, I will not be spending the maintenance contacting every mod creator in existence as I have tried to do up until this point. It is simply too time consuming and exhausting to continue doing so. If invidual mod creators would like to reach out to ensure their mods have full functionality within LBPR, they are free to do so and I can have those discussions on an individual basis.

Version is 7.4.6

Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • Pythagoras: Expanded Building
    • Desert Town
    • Ancient Civilization
    • Exiles Extreme
    • Northern Timber
    • Sand and Stone
    • SH - Building Kit
    • Thrall Wars
  • Numerous overlapping updates to existing lists. Too many changes to list.

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Once again fixed problems with being able to place beds, signs, and notes on player land claim.

  • Removed Pillar rotations from the extra rotations options since Funcom made it an official feature in this update. The option is now just "ceilings" for the extra rotations, or all buildings (with the options for everybody or admin only).

  • Gates will now place into a Gate Frame no matter how far a Gate Frame is buried when the "Allow Doors, Gates, and Drawbridges to Bypass Overlap Rules" setting is enabled.

  • Drawbridges will now place regardless if a Gate is already placed in a Gate Frame when the "Allow Doors, Gates, and Drawbridges to Bypass Overlap Rules" setting is enabled.

  • Increased the size of Placeable Arrows by x2 to make them more useful

  • Updated and organized the LBPR menu across the board. Better labeling, tool tips for nearly every setting to explain what the setting does, better grouping of settings, text changes, and etc.

  • Fixed a Funcom error on BP_BuildingBase that would have prevented the Ignore Overlap Array from working at all (deprecated by Funcom some time ago. It was however, left for us mod creators to continue to use).

This means that if any other mods haven't yet updated to the newer Ignore Overlap Tag system and are instead using the Ignore Overlap Array still, they won't work as the mod creator intended. If using LBPR however, they will continue to work until Funcom pushes out a patch to address this from their end.

In non technical terms, an Overlap exception are things that players who use LBPR are familiar with; such as when a Fence Overlaps with a Doorway. That is a "custom" LBPR overlap exception.

  • Compatibility update with the latest version of the game.

Additions
  • Separated out the Followers and Building settings for placing anywhere. Follower placement anywhere is now its own setting (admin or everyone choices).

Up until now, ever since we switched to using a configurable system, Follower placement was also linked to the build anywhere setting. I honestly have no memory why we set it up that way, but there is no reason why more flexibility couldn't be given there. So to give admins more control on how to manage their servers, Follower placement anywhere is now its own setting.

Note: The Vanilla Server Setting for build anywhere does NOT impact Followers. LBPR continues to be the only option for this.

Also, while there is a build anywhere Server Setting in vanilla as of 3.0, LBPR offers an admin only version which also gives more flexibility then vanilla. Or if players just prefer to manage those settings through LBPR instead of the server settings, they can do that too.

  • Separated out Altars Advanced Placement Rules into its own setting.

This toggle will allow Altars to stack, ignore the not aligned enough with the ground check, and ignore overlaps. This is it's own setting as enabling this can increase the chances of causing Altars to break when attempting to upgrade to a higher tier Altar. This is because the game checks for any overlap collisions on the Altar before attempting to upgrade. If the Altar is too far underground, for example, it will then break on an upgrade attempt.

  • Created a client (user) side option to allow players to configure how they want the Directional Arrow on Placeables to be displayed. The options are:

    • Vanilla Setting (Displays Arrow Based on Individual Placeable) (This is the LBPR Default)
    • Placeable Arrow Always On
    • Placeable Arrow Always Off

Note: Most placeables are not set up to utilize their placeable arrows. I have manually configured some placeable direction arrow to be useful instead of their default positions, but it is not feasible for me to set up the tens of thousands of placeables that are found in the base game, DLCs, bazaar, battle pass, and other mods. I will slowly add more placeables depending on feedback and demand of the feature.

Known Issue: Despite the setting saying otherwise, there are some placeables that refuse to display their directional arrow despite it being set to always on. The ones I have tested/found, it doesn't matter if the directional arrow is displayed or not (things like the beehive, fishing traps, and etc). This most likely will impact other placeables out there, but for the most part, almost all placeables should display some sort of directional arrow if the LBPR setting is set that way.

  • Added Client side toggles for players to be able to disable the "ghost" or "brush material" when building or placing placeables. This means you may make a placeable appear solid instead of a ghosty green, as the game used to have it be before the 3.0 update. It is specifically client side, so every player can customize this as they desire.

Known Issue: Sometimes there is a minor visual issue when upgrading or side grading. Instead of disappearing into a puff of smoke, the game will revert back to the old system where it showed the building being destroyed, and spawn in its destructive mesh. This remains even if the player re-enables the vanilla brush material. It seems to clear up on its own eventually, I have not yet identified how to avoid it completely yet, and it doesn't consistently appear.

  • Added new settings to disable all upgrades and sidegrades. Best and intended to use with the "Enable All Building Overlaps" setting enabled.
