Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • None for this update

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Moved the Building Info Toggle to the top as it made more sense to have it "grouped" with the Building Info keybind function.

  • Updated tool tip info for the Building Info Toggle

Additions
  • Added the ability to set your own keybind for the "Building Info" feature.

TAB key is the default. Any singular key or most combination of keys will be accepted (Shift, Ctrl, etc). This is also set to each player individually and can be found in the LBPR Settings using Mod Control Panel if you are a normal player or admin.

The setting is not visible if the Admins have disabled the Building Info feature all together. Building Info is also no longer set to use multiple key variations (as seen in version 7.4.4). Set the keybind as as you desire in MCP.

Credit to Testerle for this feature and a big thank you for his efforts!

Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • Rotated the Chimney arrow from the Sandstone Bazaar Set 2 by 90 degrees.

Note: As I didn't purchase this set when it was available, I have no way to test if the arrow is facing the right direction. It could be backwords, I have no clue. This is just me guessing.

    • Pythagoras: Expanded Building

Specifically, special overlap exceptions have been made so that most expected building types will overlap the PEB Lattice pieces as intended.

    • Fence Foundations will now ignore overlap warnings for Ceilings and Wedge Ceilings.

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed issues with placing certain Placeables on Landclaim when the appropriate setting was enabled.

  • Changed the Building Info Hotkey to extend to TAB, I, or Z. Whichever of these keys aren't being assigned as a hotkey for "Inventory", will work for Building Info now.

  • Maintenance update to make LBPR compatible for the 3.0.2 official patch.

This is the primary reason for this update. Funcom changed something in BP_MasterPlaceables which made LBPR no longer properly compatible with the latest version of Conan Exiles. Normally, it would require a Dev Kit update to fix this. However Funcom is not going to be updating the devkit for the most recent patch to the game. However, to Funcom's credit, they sent me the necessary file so that I could do a proper update to LBPR.

Additions
  • Added a Toggle Option for "Allow Placement of Wall Objects on Non Building Surfaces." This is off by default.

This is a Toggle to directly bypass the "Must attach to an existing building" blocker that players can get when attempting to place a wall placeable on a surface. This commonly comes up when players attempt to decorate in a location on the map that is prebuilt with structures on it (such as Sepermeru or New Asagarth).

Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • Riders of Hyboria Pack (Just 1 missing building piece)
    • Building Pieces from the 3.0 patch (via the Bazaar and Battlepass)
    • Arena Pier
    • Desert Town
    • Creature Comforts
    • Dudes Creative Constructions
    • Pythagoras: Expanded Building
    • SH - Building Kit

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • ModControlPanel is now required to access the LBPR Admin Menu. DataCMD will no longer work going forward.

  • Removed the hard edit done on the Tier 2 Yog Altar. There were several issues with it and caused problems with players placing other Altars nearby it. These issues were reported to Funcom and are now fixed.

  • Set the build anywhere commands to off by default to match the official Server Setting (which is limited to Everyone. LBPR's choices will remain as is to make it easier for players).

This will likely mean admins will need to turn this back on if they want this setting enabled.

  • Removed the beta status of various settings as there were no reported issues with them in the months they were available

  • Compatibility update with the latest Funcom patch (3.0 +)

Additions
  • Added a Toggle Option to restore Building Data while holding TAB on the keyboard. This function was removed in vanilla in 3.0. Players will need to rebind the Inventory key in order to use it.

Shoutout to Funcom for reaching out to us specifically for this and providing some tips on how to set it up.

Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • Asghaard Desert Town

    • Gothic Architecture

    • Pythagoras: Expanded Building

    • Sh - Building Kit

  • Added Wall Cap Overlap Exceptions to most building types. This was done since many Pythagoras: Expanded Building buildings that act as "extensions" use Wall Caps for parents. There's also no downside to adding Wall Caps as overlap exceptions, hence why I chose it as a Parent class for PEB buildings when necessary.

  • Rotated Arrow on Stormglass Ceiling (DLC) by 90 degrees as requested by players

Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • Arena Pier

    • Sand and Stone

    • Shadows of Skelos - Extended

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed an issue that would only allow Fiber Bed rolls to be placed on Player Land Claim. All Bed Rolls should now work.

  • Restored the admin ability to pick up Signs and Notes in Player Land Claim.

Note: This does make it so that a pickup option becomes visible to all players, but it will only allow admins to pick it up.

  • Minor clean up of accidental save of files

  • Maintenance Update with the latest version of the game

Additions
  • Added a Toggle to Allow Fence Foundation "Stacking"

Not to be confused with vertical stacking (like Walls), the 2.8 official patch ended methods that players could closely place Fence Foundations in exploitative ways. This was also used for decoration purposes by players. A poll was conducted on the Better Builders Bureau Discord. Players voted at request of a Toggle being added that allowed the "Stacking" to continue with the Toggle enabled. Thus, it was added. Simply Toggle it on and your Fence Foundation stacking ways may resume.

Arrow and Overlap Stuff
  • The following mods or official content have been updated or added in order to acquire the appropriate instructions for arrow directions and overlaps.

    • "People of the Dragon" Official DLC (Nemedian DLC) (Changed Rotation of Arrow on Ceiling)
    • Aquilonia Server Mod
    • Asghaard Desert Town
    • Asghaard Ancient Civ
    • Deco & Placeables
    • Dude Delightful Decorations Deux
    • Gothic Architecture
    • Jer's Holiday Mod
    • Future Unannounced Mod (added in advance at request of mod author)
    • Pythagoras Support Beams
    • SH - Building Kit

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed vanilla bugs with the "Rift of Yog" alter (Tier 2 Yog alter).

This is basically a temporary fix as I had to hard edit the vanilla BP to fix several issues with the alter. The biggest thing is it will allow placing other alters near the alter, but also has some other minor things like properly assigning the fire particle and etc.

  • Bedrolls will no longer overlap ground terrain regardless of LBPR toggle settings.

This change was due to the fact that players often would overlap bed rolls into the terrain and cause the spawn point created by the bedroll to break.

  • Fixed instances where the Collision Check and the Alter closer together Toggles would ignore ALL placement rules when placing a placeable that would cause that code to check.

Kind of hard to explain lol. Lets just say that, for example, the Bypass Collision Toggle is on, and you tried to place a Torch in a dungeon where the Collision check would happen, even if something like the Allow Overlapping Toggle was off, it wouldn't check for Overlapping. That is now fixed.

  • Added additional rules for Bed rolls, Explosive Jars, and Fish Traps to have them check for vanilla blockers regardless of the Toggle set.

Example: You could auto-align Explosive Jars on Walls. Now you can't.

  • Optimization pass on existing features. May or may not make any observed difference.

Additions
  • Added 4 options for additional rotations. This means that the selected option will give 4 rotations instead of the vanilla 2 to all appropriate buildings, which adds a TON of building possibilities:

    • Off (This is default)
    • Pillars and Ceilings Only (Everyone)
    • All Buildings (Admin Only)
    • All Buildings (Everyone)
  • There is now a toggle to 'Allow Placement Underwater' of all Placeables. It is off by default.

  • Added a toggle to 'Allow Placement of Bedrolls, Notes, and Signs on Player Land Claim. It is off by default.

This does as it says, so long as the item that is attempting to be placed is a child class of the parent for Bedrolls, Notes, or Signs, players will be able to place these on Player Land Claim with this toggle on. Great for RP servers. Admins can pick up these Placeables so long as they have Admin enabled.

  • Added a non-admin option to select what type of Building Arrow setup you want. The options are:

    • LBPR Arrow
    • Default Arrow
    • Both Arrows
    • No Arrows
Note: This setting has to be set individually per game save/server. This is an intentional design so that we don't store files on player computers.

  • Added a Toggle setting to disable some "Check for Ground" checks. Setting is in Beta since I don't know its full affects, and is off by default.

  • Added a Toggle for Allowing Advancement Placement of Doors, Gates, and Altars. It is off by default

This is meant as an extra check on Toggles since Overlapping has adverse affects on these specific placeables I feel make the mod less fun and user friendly. For Doors, its way too easy to mistakinly add Doors to the same Door Frame multiple times over and over. And for Altars, overlapping into the ground can lead to upgrade problems. This is basically an extra toggle to ask users "Are you REALLY sure you want to allow these placeables to Overlap and other such settings knowing the side effects?"

  • Added a Toggle to 'Force Allow Stacking" of ground placeables.

There's actually a boolean check that is individually set for placeables on whether to allow stacking (such as chests) or not. This Toggle will force them all to be on.

    • Ancient Blades

    • Imp's Exiles Star Metal Building Collection

  • Added Pillars to the Overlap Exception list for Fences. This will allow players to overlap a Fence on an existing Pillar (the reverse was already possible).

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Compatibility update with the latest revision of the game.

  • Added special conditions so that the Explosive Jar and Fish Traps do not obay LBPR overlap overrides. They should place more or less like vanilla regardless of toggles set.

The Add-On mod for bug fixing the Fish/Shell Traps will be removed in a week. Please replace those fish traps as soon as possible.

Note: Funcom has added a small arrow to some building pieces as of the 2.5 patch. This will result in seeing both the LBPR arrow and the Funcom arrow. Due to lack of time, we do not yet have the ability for players to toggle one or the other as players choose (or both). We will look to do so in the future.
