Changes
  • Less chance of merc leather armor.
  • Had forgotten small stat boost for regular mercs, not fixed.
  • Small ranged skill upgrade for Rangers.
  • Also updating since it seemed to add some data to new types - since last time.

I thought mercenaries could be a bit tougher so you're getting something for your money. So I beefed them up and made some other misc changes.

Changes
  • All types are slightly more skilled, but not a ton.
  • Regular Mercs have standard armor class or better
  • Heavy Mercs have good armor class or better
  • Merc Captains have quality armor class or better
  • All mercs use "Mercenary Armor" of some sort because... cmon now. Some might see this as a slight downgrade but remember the higher armor class anyhow. The lower tier mercs have a chance to only have Mercenary Leather too.
  • The choice is weapons is a better. Captains use Fragment Axes for example. Subject to some randomness.
  • All Mercenaries have smaller backup weapons, and they don't try to equip them in the wrong slots - vanilla data is wrong for some characters but I fixed it. Anyhow they will have their larger primary weapons but also fight effectively indoors or with an injured arm too.
  • Overall the weapon levels will be higher, with higher class mercs having better weapons. All subject to some chance.
  • Added Mercenary Crossbowmen. Somehow this isn't already a thing?
  • Added a Heavy Crossbowman.
  • Merc squad sizes should on average be larger. Obviously with the addition of the crossbowmen, but even besides that. There is a random factor to this too.

Notes
  • I noticed while in World's End the squad isn't what I'd expect. Not sure why at this time but maybe I'll figure it out later.
  • This won't likely affect any current mercs you're contracted with, nor any others already spawned.
  • Again I want to highlight there is a random factor to much of this.

Compatibility
This is compatible with Better Mercenary Contracts.
I don't know of any incompatibilities per say.
