Two years after campaign release, I am glad to present you a new, absolutely global update for Red Day: Episode One!

v 1.4 Badass update!
What’s new::


Massive visual redesign..
Now levels look nice and fresh, more details, improved lighting, new effects and much more. Improved geometry quality: less blurry textures, more architecture details and new nature.




No stereotypes..
Removed bad graffiti, inappropriate humor and politics. I thought about this two years ago, but now the campaign is cleared of awkward moments.


Visual storytelling.
Now you can see the bodies of dead soldiers and civilians. Graffiti on the walls can tell you what happened in this place.


A little more logic.
US tanks replaced by russians. There are more russian cars. Now you can find a way out of the technopolip-boss arena.




Rebelance.
Decreased AK-47 damage, updated technopolip-boss. Now running away from him is funny.


Fixed bugs.
Fixed all holes in the geometry, blinding shiny surfaces, annoying invisible walls, minimized the number of console messages and much more.




New music!
Added two official tracks, you can hear them on the second level.

I want to say thank you all for support and feedback. Thanks to you, Red Day is the most rated workshop item and “featured mod of the month”. Red Day: Episode Two is coming soon, I will definitely let you know when the time comes.

CWM:
- Red Day weapons now in Custom Weapon Managment! Thanks to NSKuber.

Weapon:
- Absolutely new AK animations! Yeah! Credits to UrbanDeHuman.
- New AK-47 sounds.

Levels:
- Reworked barriers.
- Added uplayable areas.
- Fixed cutscenes for coop mode.
- Added reptiloid near the secret in "Concrete Heart".
- Updated corridor with scrapjack in "House of the Fire Rain".
- Minor changes in "Concrete Heart".

Other:
- Fixed english and russian subtitles.
- Fixed "Expected damage inflictor" error in console.

Levels:
- Fixed and added invisible walls, where its needed.
- Decorated non-playble and "behid the wall" locations.
- Fixed flying columns, trees and houses.
- Decreased sun glare effect in "Point of no return".
- Fixed crumbs in "Concrete Heart".

Weapon:
- Increased viewpoint shaking for AK-47.

Other:
- Improved english translation.

Balance:
- Fixed technopolip bullshit. Now it's not so hard.
- Increased hunting rifle power.
- More health and ammo in the last arena.
- Minor changes.

Levels:
- Now you can see everything while you underwater.
- Fixed switches issue in the "House of Fire Rain".
- Fixed bug with duplicated technopolip.
- Fixed bug with undestroyable planks in spider introduction.

Weapon:
- Fixed weird scattering on hunting rifle.
- Increased "activate/deactivate" animation speed on AK-47.
- Decreased screen shaking when player shooting from AK-47.
- Fixed flare orientation on AK-47.
