Minor Update v1.0.1

Minor New Features
  1. Threat Loss Scanning Improvements
    • During a Purification each of the target tribe's different threat categories will be compared separately. This is to eliminate the possibility for the mod to destroy an entire category and still not abort the attack.
    • New Thresholds:
      • Overall Threat 30%
      • Tribe Wealth 20%
      • Strategic Threat 20%
      • Ecological Threat 20%
      • Husbandry Threat 20%

  2. Visual Purification End Response System
    • There is now a Purification Response system in place which will post (server-wide) notifications indicating the end of a Purification. There are over 20 custom responses which will vary depending on how the encounter ended for example, whether the target tribe was victorious or defeated, etc). The Response system will also post a brief statistic from the encounter, like how many Brutal Dinos were killed, how much of the target tribe's base was destroyed, etc.
    • Several Different End States Including:
      • If the Player was defeated by being killed.
      • If the Player was defeated by running away or logging out.
      • If the Tribe turned a losing situation into a victory with a clutch save.
    • Each End State has it's own custom responses to choose from which should allow for some interesting server chat after an attack.

  3. Perk Changes: Immediate Rectification
    • When Active, a new option will appear in the radial menu of the Threat Suppressor "Show / Hide Repairable Area".
    • Will repair everything inside the green sphere, excluding everything in the red sphere.
    • New Rank Abilities:
      • Rank 1 repairs the outer most third
      • Rank 2 repairs the outer most two thirds
      • Rank 3 Repairs the entire green sphere
    • Both the Repair option and the Show / Hide Area option are on the Threat Suppressor Radial Menu and are only available when you have the Immediate Rectification perk active.
Optimisations, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
  • Tweak - Allowed Fog to spawn on Extinction.
  • Tweak - Allowed Gas Collector to be placed outside of the Claim Areas.
  • Tweak - Adjusting Claim Block Areas will now respect exempt structures such as Pipes, Oil Rigs, etc. Current Exempt Structures:
    • Ladders (all materials, includes Rope Ladders)
    • Pipes (any material, includes Intake Pipes)
    • Water Taps (any material)
    • Sap Taps
    • Water Wells
    • Oil Rigs
    • Gas Collectors
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug causing defeats to not reduce the spawn levels of Brutal Dinos.
  • Bug Fix - Battle Music should persist during an encounter even if there are many active sounds at one time.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug which could prevent players from hearing Battle Music.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug which could prevent Claim Blocks from picking up structures after adjusting their size.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a spelling error in Army Of One (ID311).

Major Update v1.0.0

Major New Features
  1. User Defined Threat Suppressor Colour Stages
    • New radial menu entry to change the colour of the Threat Suppressor's glow when reaching various stages of the Early Warning System.
    • If one of the stages is active, you can change the colour for that stage and see it update immediately.
    • Enter the menu via "Adjust Alert Colours"
    • 3 options for the 3 different stages, Enter one of these to open the colour picker menu to change the colour of that specific stage.
    • Each of the Stages will be in the colour that it currently has chosen.
    • Top 30% is listed as Yellow because that is the default colour
    • Top Threat is listed as Orange by default
    • Targeted for Purification is listed as Red by default

  2. User Defined Textures for Claim Blocks
    • Claim Blocks, Patches & Mobile Claim Areas all have a radial menu to choose which texture you want the show.
    • This allows you to match them with your current base material.
    • The mod will scan these as the material you choose as opposed to always scanning it as a metal structure.
    • All sound effects, physics and destruction mesh get changed to suit the new material.
    • There are 3 options:
      1. Wood
      2. Stone
      3. Metal

  3. User Defined Claim Block Area Size
    • Users can now adjust each Claim Block's area down or up to their current maximum via the radial menu.
    • Adjusts in 1 foundation increments.
    • If the user adjusts the size to where structures are on the outside, a warning will be displayed on the screen of that user stating how many structures are outside.
    • They will have 2 mins to increase the size to encompass the structures again or the structures will be picked up and placed in that users inventory.
    • Why would you want to decrease the size?
      • It's important to remember that Brutal Dinos will spawn around 3 foundations outside of the Claim Area. You can adjust the size to encourage a better spawn location.

  4. Brutal Dinos now have a custom spawn and despawn animation

  5. Created a colour scheme for Brutal Dinos

  6. Damage Adjustments to Brutal Dinos
    • Reduced damage of all Brutal Dinos to structures by up to 80%
    • All Brutal Dinos are now able to damage any structure type.
    • Brutal Dino types (aka Stone Tier Dinos; Stego, Carno, etc) will still be determined by your base material type.

Minor New Features
  1. Created new algorithm for handling bonus damage of Brutal Dinos
    • Bonus damage created by Husbandry Threat will be less influential to Brutal Dinos that spawn at higher levels.
    • The bonus damage slowly weakens after level 300.
    • Before level 300 the bonus damage has more influence on the dino's damage potential.
    • There is a secondary modifier which only applies to end game Brutal Dinos (Level 1000+).
    • After Brutal Dinos reach level 1000, their overall damage will start to reduce by a percentage of how much higher level they are over level 1000.
    • Overall, this change allows low level dinos (sub 300) to do meaningful damage, mid range dinos (300 - 1000) to do respectable damage but not over the top, and high level dinos (1000+) to do high damage but not 1 one shot your dinos and bases.

  2. Remodelled the collision box of the Threat Suppressor to better suit it's shape

  3. Added INI Setting: IgnoredOverLevelDinos
    • Same syntax as IgnoredWildDinos
    • These dinos won't lose loyalty even if they were tamed over the max tameable level.

  4. New Gameplay Mechanic: Purification Stalemate
    • Purification Stalemates trigger when you have reached the time limit of 15 mins during an encounter and it aborted. These will no longer be counted as a defeat because technically you survived the encounter but weren't victorious either.
    • You will earn Perk Points from this but only 25% of a Regular Victory.

  5. Added a new Tribe Stats:
      • Perk Points Earned From Purifications
      • Purification Stalemates
    • If you currently have tribe stats, they will be erased after this update. Unfortunately the previous system I built wouldn't allow me to add new stats without overwriting previous stats. I have rebuilt the system so in the future I can add new stats without destroying any previous stats.

Optimisations, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
  1. Tweak - Changed existing Tribe Stat Names:
    • Perk Points Earned to Perk Points Earned From Levels
    • Regular Victories to Purification Regular Victories
    • Clutch Victories to Purification Clutch Victories
    • Defeats to Purification Defeats
  2. Tweak - Allowed fog to spawn in shallow water. Deep water will still not spawn any fog.
  3. Tweak - Added more logging information for critical errors during spawning process of Brutal Dinos.
  4. Tweak - Changed the classification of Metal Spiked Walls to count as Stone Structures.
  5. Tweak - Increased the structure limit of Metal structures before being classed as Metal Tier to 20% (Up from 10%).
  6. Tweak - Increased the structure limit of Stone structures before being classed as Stone Tier to 35% (Up from 30%).
  7. Tweak - Increased Brutal Rhino attack interval by 200%.
  8. Tweak - Brutal Rhinos now do significantly less damage while stationary
    • Don't let these guys move. If you give them space to move, they do more damage to structures and dinos. Try to surround them or use chain bolas on them to limit their potential damage output.
  9. Tweak - Increased spawn chance of Brutal Wyverns by 50%.
  10. Tweak - Reduced spawn chance of Brutal Gigas by 50%.
  11. Tweak - Reduced spawn chance of Brutal Stegos by 20%.
  12. Bug Fix - Picking up a Temp Claim Patch has a 3 sec delay again.
  13. Bug Fix - Fixed a replication error which could prevent the TS from glowing Red after logging in while queued to be Purified.
  14. Bug Fix - Removed an edge case where a Brutal Dino could spawn without the target tribe ID causing it to remain static.
  15. Bug Fix - Removed a bug which could prevent an encounter from ending when the last Brutal Dino was killed.

Update: 5 Feb, 2019 @ 4:37pm

Minor Update v0.3.7

Minor New Features
  1. Less Restrictions on Claim Area Placement
    • Now that Claim Areas respect structures that are in other Claim Areas, they can now be placed within other Claim Areas.
    • You can place them snapped next to each other if you want.
    • Warning: This is a reminder that all structures (and their invertories) will have their threat multiplied by how many Claim Areas encompass it. This does NOT apply to Dinos or Players
Optimisations, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
  • Optimisation - Optimised Claim Building System by roughly 10%.
  • Tweak - Reduced the minimum water height required to spawn Brutal Flyers by about 50%.
  • Bug Fix - Picking up and replacing a Threat Suppressor will now correctly reactivate all previously active perks. (Keep in mind, the timers for the perks still reset as that is intentional).
  • Bug Fix - Removed an edge case where a tribe which no longer exists could be queued if all the planets aligned.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a typo in Munitions Scavenger (ID306).
  • Bug Fix - Mobile Claim Areas will now correctly have their size clamped between 5 and 21 foundations.

  • Proper Bug Fix - Mobile Claim Areas should remain friendly to your builds now.

Update: 2 Feb, 2019 @ 9:30am

Minor Update v0.3.6

Minor New Features
  1. More Information Displayed in Debug Menu
    • Admins will now be able to see more information via the Debug Menu like Tribe Threat Positions (how likely they are to be chosen), Queued Tribes and when the next Purification will occur.
Optimisations, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
  • Optimisation - Reduced clutter in logs if using ErrorLogLevel=Debug
  • Tweak - Reduced the number of Brutal Dinos which will hunt you down if you are away from base when chosen for Purification. Down by about 50% (Clamped to never be below a total of 4)
  • Tweak - Created a new algorithm to determine the level of Brutal Dinos. Now determined from your Strategic, Ecological & Husbandry Threat. Lower Difficulty servers should see an increase in the levels while Higher Difficulty should remain similar to the previous levels.
  • Bug Fix - Temporary Claim Patches can now be picked up again.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug which would cause a tribes threat to plummet periodically.
  • Bug Fix - ARc bars now actually have a chance to be in inventories of Brutal Dinos.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug which could potentially force a Purification to abort unnecessarily.
  • Bug Fix - Battle music will now stop when an encounter is complete.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug which could cause EWS Rank 3 (ID305) to fail to glow red when the target tribe logged in.

  • Bug Fix - Temporary work around for Mobile Claim Areas randomly saying "nope" to your build.
    • The error of Mobile Claim Areas not allowing you to build can still occur (I'm still looking for the cause), but I've reduced it's scan range dramatically to stop it from picking up your entire build. If placing something in the middle of a foundation or ceiling, it may still pick up the foundation / ceiling if it has bugged out. The best advice I have currently is to test the area first by placing a wall somewhere in the area as walls attach to the edges of structures and will not trigger the pick up function. If the wall stays after placing it, you will be safe build anything you want in the area, if the wall gets picked up, try moving the raft / platform saddle and waiting 5 seconds for it to sync up and try placing the wall again.
    • Unfortunately this will open up a potential exploit, because I am not scanning surrounding structures, if someone has the best patience in the world, they could potentially build outside a claim area.
    • I am sorry about this, I know this isn't ideal but until I can find the source of the issue, this is the best I have for you. RIP my houseboat 2019

Update: 28 Jan, 2019 @ 8:10am

Minor Update v0.3.5

Minor New Features
  1. Gameplay Mechanic Change: Purification
    • If a target tribe goes offline before or during a Purification, their ID is now stored in an array and will be Queued for Purification when they log in next. The timer is then reset and will begin to countdown again to choose another tribe.
    • When choosing a target tribe, the mod will look through the Queued Tribes first to see if any of them are online and will proceed to attack them. If there are no online Queued Tribes, the mod will select a new tribe (ignoring Queued Tribes) for Purification.
This will help reduce the down time between Purifications while still preserving the punishment for logging out after being selected for Purification.

  2. Gameplay Mechanic Change: Tribe Progression Scanning
    • With the ability to place multiple Claim Areas, the mod will now scan each Claim Area as opposed to just your main base. As a deterrent for overlapping Claim Areas, a structure's threat will be multiplied by how many Claim Areas encompass it. All dinos are now scanned map wide, not just within render range.

  3. Gameplay Mechanic Change: Smarter Claim Areas
    • Picking up a Claim Block or a Mobile Claim Area will now store all structures picked up in a cache where the Claim Area was.
    • All Claim Areas will respect structures inside another Claim Areas. For Example:
      • You will be able to build inside a Claim Block Area even if a Mobile Claim Area encompasses the same area.
      • Structures inside a Claim Area will not be demolished when you park your Raft / Platform Saddle in the same area.
      • You can now pick up or demolish Claim Areas within other Claim Areas.
      • Picking up a Mobile Claim Area inside another Claim Area will result in only structures attached to the same Raft / Platform Saddle being removed.

  4. Structure Change: Mobile Claim Area
    • Now that all claim areas are individually scanned for threat, Mobile Claim Areas now have their building restrictions lifted. You will be able to build any structure inside even if it has an inventory.

  5. New INI Setting: Claim Block Limit
    NumOfClaimBlocksAllowedPerTribe = <integer>
The number of Claim Blocks allowed to be placed at one time by each tribe.
Warning This can have performance impact on your server depending on how many tribes you have, how many Claim Areas they place and how big their bases are in each Claim Area. Use at your own risk
    • Default: 1
    • Minimum: 1
    • Maximum: 50

  6. New INI Setting: Temporary Claim Patch Limit
    NumOfClaimPatchesAllowedPerTribe = <integer>
The number of Temporary Claim Patches allowed to be placed at one time by each tribe.
Warning This can have performance impact on your server depending on how many tribes you have, how many Claim Areas they place and how big their bases are in each Claim Area. Use at your own risk
    • Default: 1
    • Minimum: 1
    • Maximum: 50

  7. New INI Setting: Mobile Claim Area Limit
    NumOfClaimMobilesAllowedPerTribe = <integer>
The number of Mobile Claim Areas allowed to be placed at one time by each tribe.
Warning This can have performance impact on your server depending on how many tribes you have, how many Claim Areas they place and how big their bases are in each Claim Area. Use at your own risk
    • Default: 1
    • Minimum: 1
    • Maximum: 50

Optimisations, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
  • Optimisation - Optimised CPU load by 40%.
  • Tweak - Reduced enemy foundation check of Threat Suppressor to be inline with Claim Areas.
  • Tweak - Adjusted the animation of the Threat Suppressor to only be activated as soon as your tribe data has been updated.
  • Tweak - Claim Areas are automatically hidden if they go into stasis. If a player logs off and forgets to hide it, when a player gets within render range the Claim Area will be hidden.
  • Bug Fix - EWS Rank 3 (ID305) will now glow red if you have been chosen while offline and are being purified as soon as you log on.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug causing Claim previews to disappear.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug causing War Drums Battle Music to not play when a player first logs on

Update: 18 Jan, 2019 @ 2:32pm

Minor New Features
  1. Line Graph Colours will now be randomised for each tribe when they first get registered to the system.

  2. New UI Button in Tribe Menu
    • Left most button in the top right corner of the UI. This will randomise the colours of the graph lines, so if you aren't happy with the colours it chooses when your tribe first gets registered or if you are unable to distinguish some of the colours, you can generate new colours.

  3. New Structure: Mobile Claim Area
    • Claims an area and allows RESTRICTIVE building within it's area.
    • It can ONLY be placed on a RAFT or a PLATFORM SADDLE and only allows building on the same Raft or Platform Saddle.
    • Does not allow structures with an inventory to be built within it's area (e.g Storage Box, Forge, Smithy, etc).
    • This is a permanent area, perfect for building a mobile trap. Can be picked up and moved.
    • Picking up this structure will also PICK UP all structures within the area and attempt to place them in your inventory (ensure you have enough space)
    • Demolishing this structure will also DEMOLISH all structures within it's area.
    • You will not be able to pick up or demolish this structure if a Claim Block or Temporary Claim Patch is too close.

  4. Claim Area previews (green outline while placing the structure) now update to the correct size depending on your tribes level before placing the structure

  5. Inactive tribes will now be automatically removed just before every Purification.

  6. New Command: cheat ScriptCommand TCsBA RemoveTribes
    • Removes all tribes that have not been online and not had their Threat Suppressor down for 48hrs.

  7. New Icons:
    • Claim Block
    • Temporary Claim Patch
    • Mobile Claim Area
    • Threat Suppressor
    • Building Restriction Buff

  8. Added full support for Crystal Isles

  9. Brutal Dino Loot
    • All Brutal Dinos have a chance to drop a death cache.
    • Flyers have the lowest chance.
    • Metal Tier Land Dinos are guaranteed to drop a cache.
    • The rarest dinos from each tier have a small chance to drop Alpha quality loot.

Optimisations, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
  • Optimisation - Optimised Claim Area Scale Calculations to be always based off Tribe Level.
  • Optimisation - Optimsed communication between Claim Areas.
  • Tweak - Changed name of Claim Patch to Temporary Claim Patch for better description of it's purpose.
  • Tweak - Claim Patch can no longer be placed on a Raft or Platform Saddle.
  • Tweak - Claim Block can not longer be placed on a Raft or Platform Saddle.
  • Tweak - Claim Area Scale will be recalculated after every server restart to avoid claim areas being reset after major changes to the system.
  • Tweak - Tribes no longer gain experience while offline.
  • Tweak - Tribes no longer gain experience if they do not have a valid Threat Suppressor.
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bug causing Brutal Dinos to spawn in stasis on The Island in certain locations.

Update: 9 Jan, 2019 @ 3:35pm

Update: 9 Jan, 2019 @ 9:28am

Minor Update v0.3.2

Minor New Features
  1. Changed the shape of Claim Areas from a Cube to a Cylinder to increase performance and reliability.

  2. Claim Patches will now expand as tribes level up. They level 75% slower than Claim Block Areas.

  3. Purification timer length will now generate a random time for each encounter based on the Min and Max time set from the new INI setting PurificationFrequencyRange.

  4. New INI Setting: PurificationFrequencyRange
    • PurificationFrequencyRange = This variable is sets the range of time (in seconds) between each Encounter (aka. Purification). Each time an encounter ends, a new random time between these 2 values will be used to count down until the next encounter. The default dedicated server setting will start an encounter anytime between 12hrs (43200) and 24hrs (86400). This will continue to countdown as long as the server is running, even if no one is on at the time, however, it won't start an attack if no one is online.
      • Default Dedicated Server: 43200-86400
      • Default Non-Dedi & SP: 7200-14400
      • Minimum: 1800-3600

      • Default: 5
      • Minimum: 1
      • Maximum: 50

  7. New INI Setting: MaximumClaimAreaScale
    • MaximumClaimAreaScale = The maximum space in foundations (e.g 11x11x11) the Claim Area from Claim Block is allowed to reach (does not affect Claim Patch area).
      • Default: 80
      • Minimum: 1
      • Maximum: 160

  8. Removed INI Setting: PurificationFrequency as it is no longer needed

  9. Adjusted Tribe ID Saving
    • Targeted Tribes will not have their Tribe ID saved for a follow up attack if the encounter ended because they died. If the encounter ended because they logged out, however, they will still have their ID saved for a follow up attack when they log in next.

  10. Added Structures to Exempt List
    • These structures will now ignore the building restrictions from claim areas:
      • Ladders
      • Water Pipes (Stone & Metal)
