Update: 23 Apr, 2019 @ 9:10am

Increased Stormvermin Halberd and Shield cost to 1300.

Update: 22 Apr, 2019 @ 7:08pm

Removed "Charge Defense" bullet point for Plague Monk Halberds as that could lead to some disastrous military mistakes. They have never had charge defense and should be an aggressive unit. They'll perform better against Large enemies but will still take the full force of a charge as regular Plague Monks do.

Update: 18 Apr, 2019 @ 1:29am

Updated for Clan Skrye.

Update: 14 Feb, 2019 @ 6:22am

Rebalanced Blacktail Berserkers:

- Melee Attack increased from 18 to 22.

- Melee Defense increased from 24 to 26.

- Charge Bonus reduced from 34 to 30.

Better balance (I think) for consistent performance against mid and high tier units.

Tried to retain shock value while not being too powerful in the charge.

Update: 14 Feb, 2019 @ 5:08am

- Blacktail Berserkers, a special Clanrat unit available from the Clan Armoury (for now?) that requires the Warp Forge to recruit.

This unit is a fast-moving, highly aggressive elite clanrat unit that deals most of its damage in its charge, but can become vulnerable and less effective in extended engagements. They are in a loose, chaotic formation with no charge defense. This is to retain them as a vulnerable, reckless unit that have anti large bonuses, but will also take the full force of an enemy charge in any situation, similar to a melee unit

Update: 11 Feb, 2019 @ 5:03am

Changed Stormvermin Hoplites' name to Stormvermin (Halberd & Shield) as requested.

Update: 11 Feb, 2019 @ 4:05am

Added Stormvermin Hoplites.

- Upgraded version of Stormvermin Halberds.

- Requires Warp Fore and Clanrat Armoury.

This unit has slightly less melee attack to simulate how their weapon has less power when wielded without the strength of both paws. However, they are also shielded, and will be much more resistant to missile attacks from the front. Finally, just as shielded clanrats have better melee defense than normal clanrats, the Stormvermin Hoplites have a significantly higher melee defense than the Halberds.

In most testing situations against anti-infantry infantry, they hold the line for an impressively long period of time compared to the other two Stormvermin variants. However, even in all that time, their slightly reduced melee attack means they inflict noticeably less casualties. This reserves them mainly to defensive roles.

I tried to give them spear and shield instead of halberd and shield, but that wouldn't fit the artwork. Spears are also not "Armor-Piercing" and have much lower damage, which resulted in them basically being about as effective at inflicting casualties as a baby flailing its arms around. To summarize, they have Halberd and Shield, not Spear and Shield.

Their cost and upkeep has been set to be a step above Stormvermin Halberds and Stormvermin Sword and Shield, just as how Clanrat Spears (Shielded) are more expensive than the other Clanrat variants.

Update: 29 Jan, 2019 @ 5:15am

Added Clanrat Dual Swords and Plague Monk Halberdiers.

Clanrat Halberds' armor reduced back to the original 25 value. Melee attack also reduced back to the original 20. This is to compensate for their great anti-armor and anti-large capabiltiies.

Update: 27 Jan, 2019 @ 3:58am

Fixed a bug where Clanrat Halberdier recruitment would accidentally remove Clanrat Spears (no shield) from being available for recruitment.

This is because I copied over the data for Clanrat Spears (no shield) when adding Clanrat Halberds to the Barracks and Armoury recruitment pools without giving that data a unique key. That bullshit's fixed now anyways and both units should be available.

Wtf. Fuck steam lol.
