Updated RMS Ruby - Ocean Liner (Sinkable!).

May 5th:

The upper decks have been heightened, with the bridge, the cabins, and dining room also having been completely reworked.

The ship now has individual throttles for each engine, meaning you can turn much faster. The ignition is now on the side of the left telegraph, instead of on top. You can now also track battery charge, and fuel levels from the bridge. A new fog horn and storm light system is new to the ship too. As requested- the ship can now be refuelled- from the port or starboard. You will find many minor changes in addition to these: colours, layouts, and so on.

For now this is the last major update.

April 24th:

New bow! I have completely rebuilt the bow of the ship. It is more pointed, and no longer flat- e.g. it lowers toward the water. As well as this, the ship now has a bow bulb underneath the waterline. I hope you'll agree that the ship now looks far better!

Many minor additions and edits were made during the bow update. Including colours, symmetry improvements, and some new blocks or shape changes here and there. Some things also had to be moved to rebalance the weight too. Other than the bow itself, nothing else too major has changed however.

Note: I am currently working on my second ship- a solar powered vessel based on the real life nuclear powered ship 'Savannah', therefore future updates on Ruby will be sporadic as a result.

April 17th:

New advanced lifeboats! New lifeboats which can sit two players or NPCs in addition to a helmsman, the deployment system remains the same on RMS Ruby, however, the new lifeboats are larger, more stable, self-charging, and considerably faster. The addition of a helm also means controlling them is simpler.

Ballroom- a ballroom with piano, drum kit, microphone, and dance floor, has replaced the nightclub. It also features a new mural of the ship. I feel this is a better fit to the ship than the room it has replaced.

Dining room- I have added plates of food and cutlery to the forward dining room. The room is still somewhat bland, but I think it at least gives the room a bit more detail/purpose in the meantime.

April 16th:

New bridge! The Bridge has been moved forward and streamlined, along with the bridge wings. It looks much better in my opinion, and the stairs for accessing it are now more internal than before. It might seem like a small cosmetic change, but it took quite a while to get it 'just right'! It also makes the ship look slightly less stout, as the bridge is more separate from the rest of the ship, and with the antennae forward- it looks taller.

New Grand Staircase colours! The Grand Staircase now has a checkered floor, and the shape of the stairs has been altered very slightly, the mural of Ruby opposite the Piano Lounge has also been updated to look like the ship again. Small changes, but making the ship look a bit nicer all round. The Staircase looks a bit like Titanic's now- which is of course the overall inspiration for this part of the ship.

Gauges! In the engine room there are some new gauges. 14 that track the 14 fuel tanks, and another 4 that track the batteries. This means you can now monitor fuel and power for journeys.
