Planet Coaster

Disneyland Train Station
Showing 1-6 of 6 entries
Update: 26 Aug, 2019 @ 9:34pm

Version 1.3

Changes:
- Full rework on the bridges!
- The bridges are now wider and much more detailed.
- Contain a MUCH more true-to-life archway and tunnel, complete with posters of the various rides found throughout the park (I'll try to update these with even more accurate media on the next update).
- New custom-made plaque applied to the entrance (the famous "Here you leave today, and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy").

Additional Updates:
- I tried a different tileset for the the long connecting runways on either end of the station. They don't exactly match the larger pieces, but I think they look more true-to-life. I'd love to hear what the community thinks! Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
- Other misc. cleanup items to improve realism / reduce item count wherever possible.

Version 1.2

BREAKING CHANGES:
- Significant pathing changes! I removed several staircases and reworked some of the entries to allow you to build your own pathing into the station once it's placed. Because of this change, you'll notice several floors have disappeared or changed dramatically. Please update your pathing to take this into consideration. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!

Additional Updates:
- Added fencing around the brick wall surrounding the Mickey floral arrangement (to reflect the real life fencing), and moved the light posts that were standing on the wall to the front of the wall.
- Lowered the entire garden area of the rear station substantially to better reflect reality. This necessitated several additional changes and adjustments to compensate for the differences in height.
- Light posts that surrounded the entrance to the rear staircase were moved further away per real life.
- Added a "faux" staircase to the beginning of the rear entry stairway in order to better reflect the real life stairway entry in the rear of the station.
- Dropped the height of the posts after the central rear staircase. Since these don't exist in the actual park, their inclusion warranted some reduction in visibility so as not to attract too much attention and draw away from the realistic aesthetic.
- I removed several trash cans that were not made by me. If you'd like to re-add them, you can download them from Skyplayer at: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1570772563&searchtext=disney+trashcans. They are highly recommended!
- Added two missing "drapes" on the rear of the station.
- Added several area lights to the Mickey floral arrangement to better light it at night.
- Punched a hole in the western wall of the station and added a door similar to the eastern side to allow for queues to run through the building from either side.
- Several other minor tweaks and adjustments throughout.

Update: 17 Jul, 2019 @ 12:46am

Version 1.15

- Fixed a bug introduced in v1.1 where the cement trim on the left-most planter was poking out of the brick wall.
- Added some reference shots of the real thing to compare with my work.

Update: 16 Jul, 2019 @ 11:58pm

Version 1.1

- Added left/right flourishes to Mickey Floral arrangement. There were many reference photos of various colors - I went with a golden/yellow arrangement. Feel free to recolor to your own personal preferences.
- Added trim around grassy area and filled in left/right sides with bushes as seen in the park.
- Added some missing hedges underneath the trellis on either side of the station by the bridges.
- Cleaned up some of the bridges and made a few minor adjustments throughout.

Known Issues:
- The new left-most cement trim that encases the bushes sticks out and is visible after placement. It should be buried underground past the brick wall but is currently not.
