  • Added ruins of a new civilization, Neo Hyboria!
  • Added gen 2 dinos, Lost isle critters will be included in a later update once added to the dev kit.
  • New easter eggs added to tie into canon ark lore and expanded universe ;)
  • Filled in several of the upper small isles.

Update 1.9

  • Upgraded landscape materials across the map using megascans, special thanks to Evolanca for the help!
  • New Ent creatures can be found in the lowest island's dark forest region, special thanks to Shadlos!
  • Major upgrades to Snow biome! It is now fully playable with creatures and resources added!
  • Smoothed the angle of some slopes in the desert for better mobility.
  • Improved cloud materials and expanded cloudscape, also thanks to Evolanca.
  • Many new floating islands, lakes, and the grand fountain ruin added.
  • Improved resource distribution across map.
  • Fixes for mesh issues and implemented fixes for assorted overspawns (should help minimize number of dinos spawning off ledges on floating isles.)

Update 1.8

  • Modified flying sea creatures to be unique versions known as Astral variants and added more high altitude spawns. Most are currently untamable, however the astral dolphin is available for those interested in testing! Note this is still early wip and probably plenty of bugs to sort out, but if successful the other astral variants may become tameable down the line!
  • Made several adjustments to level lighting, bloom, etc to improve aesthetic feel of the map.
  • Improved pathing up the volcano.
  • Added several small transition islands around snow biome with flyer spawns.
  • New upper atmosphere cloud layers.

Update 1.7

  • New Tir Na Nog discord to report bugs, give suggestions, and discuss the map with other players!
  • Added Volcanic eruptions to the desert region, as well as new environmental hazards, ambient sound effects, and aesthetic tweaks!
  • Snow biome is now accessible! This is still an early version, but the landscape base and some creature spawns have been added so you can get a feel for where it's headed :)
  • Fixed a couple of bugged spawners causing overspawns.
  • Added more dino dossiers to find and collect.

  • Heavily upgraded volcanic region!
  • Adjusted dino spawn behavior and quantity in several places to resolve overspawn issues.
  • Fixed several areas with bad collision.
  • Landscape sculpting/texturing work done for smoother transition between desert and volcanic regions.

Update 1.5

  • Titans are now summonable!
  • Added tropeognathus spawns to the map.
  • Massive upgrades to the W.I.P. Desert biome filled with new sights to see, resources to gather, and beasts to befriend!
  • Fix for persistent lighting bug on lower portion of map.
  • Several new floating ruins and added foliage to many.

Update 1.4

  • Added Genesis creatures and dino variants to the map!
  • New floating ruins, a great place to build a base or use as a stepping stone on your journey upward.
  • New redwood swamp region.
  • Raised world ceiling to allow access to the future volcanic desert region. This area is a heavy work in progress, but those interested can explore its contents so far to get an idea of things to come :)

  • Added several small satellite islands between initial player spawn region and lowest island.
