Transport Fever 2

Transport Fever 2

Line 274 Wałbrzych-Jelenia Góra
Showing 1-2 of 2 entries
Update: 11 Dec, 2019 @ 6:37am

Bored of uninspired auto-generated landscapes with no true character?
Welcome to the magnificent hillsides of Lower Silesia, Poland that hold many important natural resources and years of history.
The map is a detailed, handcrafted, realistic (through not 1:1) approach to the Wałbrzych - Jelenia Góra (274) railway line. The map was created using terrain.party and Google Earth. The map is fully TF2 gameplay -functional and provides multiple challenges in a linear scenario. Use the resources from the countryside to develop the cities of Wałbrzych (up to 1945 Waldenburg) and Jelenia Góra (up to 1945 Hirschberg).

The industries, mines, rivers, forests and farms are (mostly) where they are in real life. Some factories even have real names.
The general path of the real railway line is highlighted in multiple locations, however there still is a lot of freedom to build your own solutions.

The map is 1:4 (10x40km) in size and requires turning on experimental map sizes in the config files. It has been optimized for performance - edges of the map, that are not so important for the gameplay have limited tree cover and hold no detail.

Another planned maps:
Podhale, Nowy Targ - Zakopane (Tatra mountains region, Poland)
Brasov - Sinaia (Bucegi Mountains, Romania)
