This mod does not appear to be necessary anymore, as of the current beta (2023-02), because the overlay screen is now (finally!) much dimmer by default. So, I have modified this mod so that it will continue to work on older versions, but will do nothing on the new version (for people who haven't removed it yet). You can safely remove this mod from save files.
