Update: 5 May, 2020 @ 3:49pm

--------------
VER 1.1.3
--------------

  • Fixed compatibility issues with Better Looking Garbs. Should now also be compatible with other portrait mods.
  • Modding details: The culture and religion groups are saved as persistent event targets directly instead of creating temporary reference characters. Changed the debug event options accordingly.

Update: 30 Mar, 2020 @ 8:04am

----------
Ver. 1.1
----------

  • Increased the number of supported religious groups to 15.
  • Fixed a bug where cultural traits were sometimes not applied at game start.
  • Fixed a bug whereby religious and cultural traits were not applied to spawned characters (such as the ones spawned via Invite Noble to Court etc. decisions).
  • Fixed a bug where cultural opinions were not correctly applied for some cultural groups.
  • Optimized the application of cultural and religious traits at startup. Most characters will have the traits at the beginning of the game and a few characters will be given the traits 1 day later. These "few" characters include some children etc. which the game creates for rulers who have no family at game start.

Update: 21 Mar, 2020 @ 8:33am

Quick fix to prevent coats of arms from being shuffled.

v. 1.0
--------

  • Characters can now gain hatred traits against other religion groups and/or culture groups.
    • Three tiers of hatred: "Dislike", "Hate", "Abhor".
  • Can be enabled/disabled via Game Rules for religious and cultural hatred separately.
  • Rate of acquiring hatred can be adjusted via Game Rules for religious and cultural hatred separately.
  • The reasons why a character acquired these traits are shown in the traits' description for living characters. Can be enabled/disabled via a Game Rule.
  • Both hatreds are quite rare on the Default setting. Furthermore, cultural hatred is rarer than religious hatred.
  • Different reasons have a different chance of developing a hatred trait.
  • Reasons for gaining hatred against a religion or culture group:
    • They raised a revolt in my realm.
    • They won a great holy war against us. (Religious hatred only).
    • We lost a crusade against them. (Religious hatred only).
    • They defeated me in a war.
    • I crushed them in a war. (Proud characters only).
    • They executed my close relative or spouse.
    • They usurped my titles.
    • They raided in my realm.
    • They looted settlements in my realm.
    • They forced me to become a consort.
    • They forced my close relative or spouse to become a consort.
    • They imprisoned me.
  • Characters who are allowed to raid cannot gain hatred traits against groups due to raiding.
  • Characters who are allowed to have concubines or are tribal cannot gain hatred traits against groups due to forced consort reasons.
  • The following characters are more likely to gain religous and cultural hatred:
    • Characters with traits: Wroth, Craven, Proud.
  • The following characters are more likely to gain religious hatred:
    • Theocracies.
    • Holy orders.
    • Characters with traits: Zealous, Holy Warrior.
  • The following characters are less likely to gain religious and cultural hatred:
    • Characters with traits: Content, Kind, Humble, Patient.
  • Characters will not gain hatred against their own public and secret religion groups.
  • Characters will not gain hatred against their own culture group.
  • Dynamically works with vanilla and modded religion and culture groups up to a maximum of 10 religion groups and 50 culture groups.
  • If characters possess a "sympathy" trait for that religion, they will first lose that trait before developing hatred (only applies to vanilla religion groups).
