v1.6 changes notes.
-more end lag on f-smash
-more startup lag on f-smash
-f-special doesnt travel as far, making 0-deaths harder and making it less of a broken edge-guard tool
-f-special no longer launches opponents, instead just stunning them so ronald can follow up with something else
-decreased McLaser knockback
-increased McLaser damage
-run speed reduced
-walk speed reduced
-McShake damage reduced
-Apple explosion damage reduced
-charged side-special is slower and deals more damage
-n-special has increased lag
-changed up-b knockback angles so the second hit connects into the third more consistently
-changed up-b knockback angles and distance so the third hit connects into other attacks better

v1.5
it has come to my attention that the previous version was a little dumb- (and definitely not balanced, despite the goal i set out to accomplish)
so i made ALOT of changes.
-cheese can no longer be destroyed by attacks (it was way too easy and placing cheese was basically a waste of your time before this. however, due to his low kill power, youll rarely die if you touch the cheese anyway, so i dont think this is too big of a deal. especially with the cooldown on it preventing infinite edge guards with it.)
-almost all of his attacks are slightly slower (between 1-4 frames slower, depending on the move)
-alot of his attacks deal reduced damage. (up to 2% weaker in most cases)
-his smash attacks kill later.
-his infinite recovery is GREATLY nerfed (i didnt think it was right to remove it outright, infinite recovery is part of what makes ronald.. ronald. however, its so slow that youll almost definitely just be spiked for trying.)
-his third jump is back (with slower aerials, weaker aerials and a way worse recovery, having more access to his aerial play style was a necessity. plus.. again.. im trying to balance him around his core traits, to keep with the feel of the character, so he feels like balanced ronald, not like.. a balanced character.. who just looks like ronald. and his third jump is a big part of the way he plays and the way he feels.)
-slowed down literally every version of neutral b (charged ground, ground, aerial, charged aerial.)
-put a cool down on side b, to avoid his horizontal infinite recovery and to reduce access to one of his greatest damage dealers and combo moves.
-nerfed side b damage
-buffed side b speed
-made it easier to combo out of side b
-changed side b knockback angles to make the hits connect more consistently

uh- not many lmao
i literally just changed the cheese.
lifetime is set to 1000
and cooldown is set to 500

i thought only letting him use one at a time was a little too much, especially considering it can be destroyed pretty easily, so now he can pretty much use two

im back at it again with updating your least favorite version of everybodies favorite burger clown out of boredom

v1.3 patch notes
-cheese (down tilt) is very fast again. i didnt like it being so slow.
-cheese now has a cool down (400) so you can only place another one right before the old one disappears (the cheese has a lifetime of 500. 100 longer than the cooldown) essentially limiting you to one cheese puddle (puddle? pile? i dunno, i just assume its melted cheese-) at a time
-side special has a little more end lag

aaaand i dont quite remember the rest- sorry for the patch notes being incomplete this time. i update him late at night when im tired and this was over the course of four days i think-
if i remember any changes i made to the 1.3 version that arent listed here, ill of course update this.

i suppose were doing daily updates-
wasnt expecting it, but i keep getting bored and updating him-

v1.2 patch notes
-slowed down down tilt alot so its a bit more like a falcon punch (in the sense that its slow, situational and risky, but has the potential to give a big pay off if you get it)
-increased start up lag and decreased end lag on down tilt
-slowed down neutral air a bit
-decreased damage dealt by apples (being both one of ronalds best kill moves and one of his highest damage moves previously made them a bit too op)
-decreased damage dealt by shakes
-decreased start up lag on aerial neutral special (light)
-increased base knockback on side tilt
-increased hitstun on down air
-increased damage dealt by back air

patch notes for V1.1
first of all, yes im editing this within 24 hours of uploading it, quarantine ya know? got nothin' better to do
second of all, heres the change list for version 1.1
-McLazer has been slowed down so its easier to dodge (and many characters with slower recoveries couldnt dodge it before)
-the cheese has been returned to its former glory (500 lifetime rather than 250) however it has been slowed down (three times as many frames) so its not as safe or spammable. the cheese can also be safely destroyed by every single character base game and dlc character by attacking it. i tested which moves work and they all have atleast one quick tilt to destroy it safely without being left very vulnerable (some have safe jabs on it, some have safe aerials to hit both ronald and the cheese safely, and others have long enough range to hit both ronald and the cheese while grounded.)
