Patch Notes:

Back Air (Water Gun)
+ Base Knockback: 7 -> 8
+ Knockback Scaling: .5 -> .55
+ Damage: 7 -> 8
- Startup: 8 -> 9
~ Adjusted SFX timing.
(Readjustment of power to give it a little more killpower, since none of Water Bottle’s aerials really had any kind of killpower on their own.)

Forward Strong
~ Adjusted sfx.
(I personally wasn’t a fan of the additional SFX this move played.)

Neutral Special (Pressure Shot)
~ Fixed a bug where if Water Bottle hit certain opponent’s articles with Forward Tilt or Back Air and canceled into Tap Neutral Special, the owner of said article would be teleported to Water Bottle.
- Damage (when canceled into with Forward Tilt / Back Air on hit specifically): 11 % -> 6 %
(Dealing 20 % with a single move (technically) was a little overkill in hindsight. This should make it somewhat less brutal in terms of damage while still retaining the normal damage of each individual move without making either of them completely reliant on each other for dealing damage.)

Forward Special (Snag Wrap)
~ Fixed a bug where if this move hit an armored opponent and the wrap returned to Water Bottle, Water Bottle would do the second part of this move anyway.
~ Fixed a bug where if Water Bottle was hit out of this move while the wrap was active and it grabbed someone, it would continue to drag the opponent along the projectile’s path. This is now no longer the case, and the wrap projectile will now disappear, releasing the grabbed opponent.
- Parrying this move now puts Water Bottle into extended parry stun, allowing for easier punishes.
- The grab hitbox now can no longer grab opponents when returning. (It will have effect if you have any rune equipped, though.)
(This move was a little too safe on parry and was somewhat hard to punish Water Bottle for using it. And also some bug fixes.)

General
~ Added an intro animation.

Alternate Colors
~ Moved around the order of a few alternate colors.
~ Removed the Ocean color scheme.
~ Added a Riptide color, as Water Bottle is a part of the Riptide 2023 Character Roster.

Back Air
~ Adjusted startup animation to make it more clear.

Down Air
~ Multihit Hitbox Base Knockback: 4 -> 6
~ Multihit Hitbox Angle Flipper: 10 -> 9 (sends opponents towards the center of the hitbox)
- Removed command grab code.
(Being able to instantly snap people to yourself with the multihit hitboxes on this felt weird. This change should make the hitboxes connect with each other more reliably rather than just brute forcing it.)

Up Strong (Squirt Spout)
+ Using the second part of this move that consumes water can now also be accessed by holding the Strong button, rather than having to press it again.

Neutral Special (Squirt Shot)
+ When canceling into the tap part of this move through either Forward Tilt or Back Air on hit while holding water, the hit opponent’s position is now adjusted to be closer to Water Bottle, making the two hits connect much more reliably than before at certain percentages and fall speeds.
(There were situations where canceling into Tap NSpecial would be completely pointless, as the hit opponent would be sent too far away from you at higher percentages, making it near impossible to link the two moves together. This change should make the cancel combo more consistent.)

Forward Special (Snag Wrap)
+ Very slightly heightened the detection radius for if this move is touching the stage, preventing rare situations where the projectile sprite would just barely skim the stage itself and not count as grabbing it.
(Should make grappling to the stage with this move very slightly more consistent.)

Down Special (Precipitation)
~ Added information about using this move when at max water in the Steam Description

Patch Notes:

General
~ Fixed Kirby (Dream Collection) getting the wrong Copy Ability from Water Bottle. This one's on me, I forgot to change the variable for it.

Forward Tilt (Squirt Swipe)
~ Fixed a bug where holding the opposite direction of where you’re facing when canceling into NSpecial on hit would turn you around.

Back Air (Squirt Swipe)
~ Same bug fix as listed above.

Up Special (Bottle Flip)
~ Fixed a bug where dragging an opponent into the blastzone with this move without landing the finishing hitbox and K.O.ing them would set their respawn position to where Water Bottle was for some reason.
~ Adjusted hud offset position when using this move.

Patch Notes:

General
~ Fixed a bug where Rune A wouldn’t work when equipping it. Previously, it would only work when equipped by Rune B.
~ Added Rune H: Multihit and projectile damage now damage scale with water, and USPECIAL can be fast falled when used.
~ Water-based attacks now remove burn status from hit opponents.

Forward Special (Snag Wrap)
~ Added “compatibility” to certain reflector code, like Dr. Mario’s.

Up Special (Bottle Flip)
~ Finishing Hit Angle Flipper: 10 -> 6. This change is reverted when using Rune H.
- Can no longer be fast falled when using the move, preventing situations where you could drag people down into the bottom blastzone with this move.

Taunt
- Projectile Damage: 3 -> 0. This was an oversight on my part. Equipping Rune F will give it damage.
