OPFOR: Republic of Iraq:

-Mi-171Sh (Unarmed and Rockets) added. Compared to the Mi-8 variants, this type transports fewer soldiers, but has a pylon variant that mounts an additional rocket pod and includes a rear gunner. Iraqi forces were noted to use both helicopter types.

-helicopter crews added to all Mi-8s and variants.

-composition Groups Mi-8MT (Medevac) Team added. This team incorporates an Mi-8MT (Medevac) Helicopter with 4 Iraqi Army Combat Medics as an alternative to an attempt to force a Combat Medic into an Mi-8MT (Medevac) Helicopter based on an existing entry found in the CUP Vehicles Mi-8 configuration, which ultimately failed after several attempts.

-compositions Groups redefined and reclassified to better conform to ARMA III naming convention. Some groups renamed accordingly.

-all compositions Groups are now identified with the appropriate NATO “OPFOR” strategic icons.

-Republican Guard Mi-24D Hind Element was not available in the 3Den Editor due to a misnamed class label. This has been corrected. All Mi-24D Hind Elements now have an established minimum and maximum altitude for Zeus deployment.

Update: 3 Nov, 2021 @ 9:29pm

OPFOR: Republic of Iraq:

-M80 (Iraq) added, based on report from SnipezTheII: Thank you!

Iraqi forces were known to utilize M80 and M90 helmets, which were derivatives of the U.S. M1 helmet. The Iraqi variant was known to be extremely weak and unable to provide proper protection against incoming rounds. Therefore, asset is a retextured CUP M1 with modified attributes (Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M80_helmet_(Iraq); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_M90_helmet; https://www.iraqimilitaria.com/iraqi-helmets).

-Iraqi Ground Forces Squad Leader and Rifleman (AK-47, tan uniform) helmets changed to M80 (Iraq).

-added “joke” image as a poster based on a similar image found on the Half-Life: Firearms “Basrah” map. All due credit to the Half-Life: Firearms team, as well as the source of the original base image:

-headwear randomization does not appear to be functioning – this is a flaw at the vanilla ARMA III level at this time.
