v1.8

General:
- Mario now gains less SPD when dealing damage with normal attacks (multiplier decreased from 1*dmg to 0.4*dmg rounded up) and by moonwalking.
- Increased the speed loss on hit from 0.7*dmg to 0.8*dmg for the first hit Mario receives.
- Mario speed loss will halt 90 frames more upon hitting someone (45 > 90 frames)
- Mario will now flash white when landing a Fspecial, Dash Attack, Dtilt or Dair as an indicator for the new Down Special mechanic.
- Desyncs hopefully fixed!

Down Special:
- Dspecial is now Scuttlebug only.
- Held Dspecial BLJ's now moved to a conditional attack, land a Fspecial, Dash attack, Dtilt or Dair and during hitpause press down special to be able to BLJ ontop of your opponent! Mario will quickly snap to them and the opponnet will have a few extra frames of hitpause so you can farm speed.
- Dspecial startup 7 > 10.
- Scuttlebug has more base speed to give and each jump gives extra speed too, use it to quickly gain speed now, no need for camping anymore! (I'm lying, but even less)
- Scuttlebug jumps sooner (every 60 frames > 55 frames)
- Scuttlebug cooldown increased when it is mario that jumps on it 60 > 80 (enemy's unchanged)

Up Special:
- The Bomb's hitbox size increased, its lifetime was increased 3 > 9, can't be reflected nor destroyed.

Forward Special:
- Base damage increased 2 > 5, damage scaling speed*0.06 > speed*0.09 (this is for the new on hit multiplier).
- Its speed cost is now a constant 400 SPD.

Neutral Special:
- Bowser KB scaling .6 > .95, can no longer be reflected nor destroyed. Increased lifetime 10 > 13.

Dash Attack:
- Hitpause 6 > 10. hitpause scaling 0 > .4

Down Strong:
- The High SPD projectile moves less distance, Knockback Scaling decreased 1.3 > 1.2.

Down Tilt:
- Hitpause 5 > 9

Forward Air:
- Knockback scaling .6 > .7
- Hitpause scaling .25 > .7

Up Air:
- Knockback scaling .7 > .75

General:

All voice clips are approx 30% quieter.
Ground friction changed: 0.5 -> 0.75.
Speed multiplier decreased a bit (nerfed how fast Mario goes in max speed).

Down Tilt:

No longer auto-cancels into a shorthop. It now goes into its endlag window on hit.

Forward Special:

Speed gain on hit decreased at high SPD.

Down Strong:

The QPU projectiles last 10 frames shorter.
The QPU projectiles are more visible.

Neutral Air:

Changed the animation to make its startup more visible.

General:
The hitboxes on all attacks not match their animations (it used to have a frame difference).
Neutral Air:
Now deals more damage and works better.
Up Air:
Fixed the hitpause scaling (it no longer lasts 10 years).
The sweet and sourspots have different SFX and VFX.
Down Tilt:
Now bounces Mario up when hitting an opponent (Dash Attack no longer outshines it).
Neutral Special:
No longer lets Mario hold onto Bowser when charging it.
Forward Special:
It now depletes 20% of the current SPD instead of removing a flat 1000 SPD with each use, making it more reliable.
Speed mechanic:
Mario now gains more SPD when hitting an opponent in order to make it a better tool and encourage a more aggressive playstyle option.
