Minor update

Animations update
  • Added damage animation on top of the lost health and armor
  • Changed behavior for bottomless clips weapons (grenades, rocket launcher, etc.). They will now show as clip (above the bullet picture) instead of a reserve ammo.
  • Added toggleable background for the health and armor bar (will only occupy the health bar if the armor bar stays in place)

Fixes:
  • Changed the HUD drawing order
  • Added value limits on console variables
  • Rewrote deprecated code parts
  • Rewrote bars loss and gain transition. Now using re-usable functions instead of copied-pasted on multiple spots
  • The default HL2 HUD squad indicator and damage indicator are not longer hidden.

HUD disappearance hotfix

- Fixed the default HUD scale value.

This will prevent only for new updaters to have their HUD dissapeared.

If you updated the HUD before this hotfix, you will have to manually edit the HUD scale by either set the "Custom Scale" setting back to 1 in the settings panel or by entering "SyntHud_scale 1" in the console.

Customization update:

Added a new bullet animation when reloading. The animation speed matches the time it take to reload your current weapon.

- Added new animation when reloading weapon
- Adjusted animations and optimized steps
- Added HUD scaling customization





Fixes:

- Removed decimals for position and width adjustment

Customization update:

Added more customization options, some were asked, other are my own choices.

- Added toggleable health/armor digits
- Added an option for the armor bar stays in place instead of following the health length
- Added sliders to modify the HUD position and width (0 is the default position/width)
- Added an alternative icon for the AR2 ammo, can show a bullet instead of an energy cell

Fixes:

- Rewrote the control panel code to use "dform" instead of the deprecated "panel"

Shield mode update:

Added shield mode designed to work alongside with armor regeneration or shield addon of your choice.

While the shield mode is enabled:
- Lost armor will be animated at faster rate
- Gained armor will be hidden
- Added screen vignetting as armor depletes (toggleable)
- Added depleted armor alert at bottom (toggleable)


Fixes and adjustments:

- Fixed the clip counter that may go far away from the hud border.
(still made it able to overflow a little bit for SWEPS that can have extra bullet in chamber)
- Made some clip counter animations adjustments
- Added HUD background that can be toggled that improves de readability
