v1.5 Update 1 (2 will be the puzzle assets)

Changes:

-Blocks got a new, higher quality shader
-Reinvented color bock to work better with new shader and upcoming puzzle update.
-Ship size greatly reduced and ship was remade from ground up to be more detailed / higher quality
-Block size greatly reduced for both color and greys(thus no more absurd giant blocks in modes that use the near player scaling effect)
-Some grid improvements most notable is the visibility of when the one grid lane is full, there will be tendrils coming out of the circles in that lane.
-Air particles now look like electricity.
-Made some preparations for new floor rails they are not complete yet
-Improved lighting: blocks and the ship have much more realistic lighting on them
-Reduced skin loading time by about 35-40%

-Restored flyup texture
-Reduced loading time by roughly 40% (on my PC I went from 24 sec load to 13)
-Increased the size of air particles a bit in ship modes

V 1.4

Changes:

  • Remade End portal from the ground up.
  • Remade Ship from the ground up again, and switched back to a black/violet color scheme.
  • Lowered Energy cores(color blocks) a bit so it's easier to judge were there at, in high speeds/bumps.
  • Made some preparations for better support on 7/5 lanes (not active yet but still very much playable).
Additions:
    Added New "Energy Wires" that help add to the atmosphere of the skin, looks very nice on smooth hills.

-Gave the floor rails a different non-transparent shader for increased smoothness.
-Remade floor rails to have less than half the polys but still look the same, this
SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASED the load time, on my comp the load time was decreased by at least 54% (30 sec to 12)
-Gave a slightly different texture to the new rails, now has sort of a "static" look
-Turned on smooth tilting for "beat objects" that follow the player.
-Beat objects now have a "smooth fall" mesh morph
-Swapped grid and ship colors with ship having slightly more detail

v1.2

  • Remade the ship to have slightly more emphasis on the body and slightly less on the wings
  • Ship now has a different color texture
  • The ship cam now moves slightly closer instead of slightly farther out during song intensity this should help with people claiming theres "hitbox issues"
  • New ship model is slightly smaller than old to compensate for the cam getting closer.
  • Ship no longer clips into the grid
  • Remade the grid from scratch for people that had a hard time seeing it
  • Grid is now set closer to the player and does not move
  • Made rings slightly bigger
  • Made the energy core(blocks) texture res a lot higher so it looks smooth

Update: 7 Feb, 2014 @ 6:10am

-Made final color lighter to prevent bleeding
-Reduced radial blur slightly to increase visibility when song is going very fast
-Fixed wakeboard model position (was slightly to far back despite looking normal to me)
-Made a few small adjustments to the grid graphic mainly the outlines are thicker for easier spotting
-Fixed a small seam in the floor railing
-Reduced polys & redesigned few models for quicker load times should be about 10% faster
