Chi - Conduits Update 1.4

- Fixed auto icon in "Chi human right arm"

- Fixed some item descriptions

- Added a small description warning on Chi/Anukara limbs where it was necessary to try to avoid some visual bugs: Since it's impossible to create an universal limb that fits perfectly in every race without compromising the vanilla models, I've opted for warn users about it. Anukara limbs are created removing the material from the limb, when you do that the limb will use the material of the character body in the possition where it should be, wich lead to funny visual bugs if you use a limb for a specific race in a char of another race (A Shek limb in a Hiver char for example). It's nothing serious but maybe it would lead to some confusions.

- Divided Transmutation Buildings into 2 new buildings: Chi Transmutation (ITEMS) and Chi Transmutation (LIMBS) to avoid clutter in the crafting window

- Added 2 new Chi Backpacks (with 2 lantern variants each one. Not the best quality but I love them)

- Added 14 new limbs based on vanilla robotic limbs in CHi and Anukara versions (KLR, Stealth, Scout, Industrial Lifter, Economy)

- Changed weight on "Diluted Chi" items for balance, from 0 Kg to 0,5 Kg

- Added 5 Anukara Belt Boots for chars with prosthetics, same stats as wooden sandals (some clipping with robotics can appear, try to use it with Shek/Human/Hiver based Chi or Anukara limbs for better results)

- Added a NEW TEST START called "Chi: Conduits TEST". Every Meditation unlocked, 2 characters (100 stats and 1 stats), masterwork gear, 1 million cats. Spawn in the Hub.

Chi - Conduits Update 1.3

- Reduced spawn chance of Chi Expert in The Hub, from 25% to 10%.

- Updated Chi universal texture, replaced the place holder (less size).

- Updated meshes for conduits, replaced the place holders.

- Removed physics from items as they aren't really needed.

- Changed Chi Tsarumarga values:

  • Dextrity mult 1,3 from 1,4
  • Stealth mult 0,9 from 0,8

- Removed the black color in the Anukara backpacks, they now display the original texture.

- Reduced stats on the Chi: Master and Chi: Last Breath starts, as well on Chi Experts (by -10 each)

Chi - Conduits Hotfix 1.2.1

- Fixed icon size of Nirdahana Chi (BELT), from 2x4 to 2x2 as intended.

- Changed stat used on Chi Respiration, from DODGE to PERCEPTION: I wasn't happy with the performance of that building, unifying the 3 building that uses stats under PERCEPTION guarantee that you'll have fair progress with the mod. Using 2 separate stats required too much grind to get decent items.

- Neutralized combat stats for buffs and debuffs in all backpacks, now it's true neutral.

- Eliminated the icons on Chi limbs, auto icon turned on as intended.

- Changed the values on Chi Evulsion production, from 1 to 2.

- Changed the values on Chi Transmutation production, from 1 to 2.

- Changed the values on Chi Regeneration production, from 40 to 50.

Chi - Conduits Update 1.2

- Fixed animations with disabled loop.

- Changed some values of Chi Conduits (Details on new thread: "JUST VALUES AND STATS").

- Updated some descriptions.

- Fixed some values on Chi Distillation (In testing): For some reason, I was sure I was able to generate Chi with Conduits using Distillation, but after many test I realized it was impossible, so I updated the description. 2 metals stills gives 1 Chi.

- New backpacks added, on Chi and Anukara variants (same stats as Chi Backpack, no light, unlocked with Chi and Anukara limbs respectively): Kenshi allows multiple backpacks in the backpack slot, 3 backpacks is perfect to keep a order and not messing too much with the engine. Only 1 backpack can be visible, but you can freely choose any of them. While you still can stack more than 3, the maxium without frequent crashes is 4, from there the game starts to crash randomly, that's why I designed 3 to fit perfectly. You have been warned.

- Chi: last Breath now is Expert (was Master). Updated researchs and stats accordingly (Details on new thread: "STARTS (DETAILS)").



NOTE: While I'll keep doing things in the mod until it's 100% done, I think I added all I wanted in terms of base items for my current future ideas. If anyone have more suggestions, I'll gladly take them if they adhere to my knowledge on modding and my vision for balance (something I say directly to avoid confusion).

Future content includes (100% sure, some stuff currently in work):
  • 2 Bosses
  • More dialogue
  • More lore
  • 3 New Conduits
  • A New race
  • 4 New limbs
  • A New location
  • 4 or 6 New NPCs (Masters added with bounties in the same way as Chi Experts)
  • 3 New starts
  • Chi "Spreading into the world": All vanilla factions with ranged units will have a chance to spawn as a Chi user. Chances, Conduit and level of the weapon will be the same as vanilla.

Chi - Conduits Hotfix 1.1.2


Unlisted change from the last update (1.1.0) (I forgot to add it, sorry!):
- Reduced the inventory size of the Chi Backpack from 18 to 10

- Regularized stat values on Breathing Techniques. Sadly, I coudln't do anything about the production times of the new items and their weight, it's hard coded on Kenshi. Techniques for combat have 100% protection in head, chest, stomach, 20% resistance to cut and blunt, no cut efficency, 100% protection against dust and gas, buffs for combat). Technique for acid/burning (Nirdahana) have 100% protection in all the body, but 10% to cut and blunt, not cut efficency, 100% against acid and burning).

- Eliminated Harpoon Resistance from Breathing Techniques (compensation for no cut efficency)

- Chi Respiration production rates are twice as fast as before (Compensation for new values and long production times, it won't be changed further)

- Reduced the Chi required to create Conduits: For some reason Kenshi doesn't allow more than 5 material items to be stacked in a crossbow bench while producing it, I've tried many ways to increase the stack size and reduce the chance of a nasty bug that doesn't allow you to continue a build if you put a Chi from another lot. This was a tough decision, but I value stability over my intentions, which is why I've reduced the ammount of Chi to 5 max (Superior). Production times remain the same.

- Changed some animations that weren't tied to the hard coded animations.

- Changed Chi Restoration:
  • Reduced Hunger rate from 3 to 2
  • Can be used on Interior and Exterior
  • Cost 1 Chi (Compensation for Interior)
  • Intended Acid protection (In testing)
  • Changed the heal rates, both have 3 (As a comparison, Camp bed has 4, Bed and Skeleton repair bed 8)
  • Same build time as a camp bed
- Changed Breathing Techniques names:
  • Martial Chi -> Mustihan Chi
  • Melee Chi -> Tsarumarga Chi
  • Sniper Chi -> Sauptika Chi
  • Burn Resistant Chi -> Nirdahana Chi

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Chi - Conduits Hotfix 1.1.1

- Fixed the research tree. I thought Kenshi handled differently the repetitions on research, and as I tried to lower the values on them I caused a bug that didn't let you complete some researchs to unlock some buildings and items. My most sincere apologies, but it's fixed now :)! You should have new researchs now if you already made some of them.

- Added 8 limbs (2 types for Skeletons too!)

- Added a new Breathing Technique "Burn Resistant Chi" (I'm probably changing the name in the future, but I've tried to launch this ASAP for the research bug! Unlocks at the same time as the other Breathing Techniques.

- Added a new building called "Chi Restoration", as a camp bed for organic and robotic beings. Unlocks at the same time as Condensed Healing items.

- Fixed a few bugs with the Chi: Master start.

- Fixed some descriptions.

- Updated Research Tree Flowchart in the "SPOILER" thread.

- Fixed values on Regular and Diluted Healing Orb, now both shows their intended values.

- Added Chi Transmutation, meditation that allows the creation of various items (Bags, Limbs, Lanterns... Future updates will bring more stuff)

Chi - Conduits Hotfix 1.0.2:

(I wasn't planning on doing a hotfix for now, but here we are!).

- Doubled Chi Regeneration stack (from 5 to 10)

- Updated some research requirements to avoid not having some meditation techniques in the end of the Research tree because players didn't know they should repeat them.

- Added more descriptions to avoid player confusion with researchs.
