Along with the release of Royal Court, patch 1.5 'Fleur-de-Lis' changed the way tonsure is applied to characters of the Bön religion. While previously tonsure was applied to devotees of all Bön faiths, now only those of the Gyur or 'transformed' Bön are tonsured, while the older Khyarwé Bön instead uses steppe religious headwear.

Accordingly, this mod, which extends the practice of tonsure to remove characters' beards, and further expands the number of characters who are tonsured at all, has likewise scaled back its remit, following the changes to native and restricting tonsure to Buddhist and Gyur Bön characters, while allowing devoted Khyarwé Bön characters to retain their beards.
