Updates:

- Jabbamonkey textures updated to match the new HIRES textures.
- Missing Jabbamonkey resource textures added.
- Added apple tree. Resource is broken.
- Added granny smith apple tree.
- Placeholder textures created for plants and items that don't have a texture yet to allow implementation and testing. Enjoy the goofy textures, they'll get replaced within the next couple of updates. None of these plants will grow in the wild to prevent you having to see the texture if you don't want to, but you will be able to plant them. That will change when the textures are completed.
- Different log/wood types added.
- Several bugs concerning plants dropping what they're supposed to fixed.
- Fungus types added.
- Anima Grass is now an appropriate size.
- Beer texture fixed.
- Updated for 1.3.
- Several other incorrect texture paths fixed.
- Temporarily removed mod support, because I can't figure out how to get the patches to work for other mods.

- Tilled soil now comes in vertical and horizontal orientations.

Updates:

The power went out so I lost my detailed list, but I did some bugfixes and completed textures for all vanilla plants. The real fun of this mod can start now.

If you find any problems with textures, biome density, spawns, or have suggestions for design or any other comment, please leave a comment below, as I've said before I'm working on this mod entirely alone so I don't have another person to test updates for me and with such a big project I can't possibly test every option myself.

If I missed a vanilla plant, especially let me know! I'm confident I've gotten all of them, but I overlook things sometimes.

I'm still figuring out XML, so I may not be able to fix red errors that pop up, but tell me if you find them as I will try my best anyway. A frequent irritating error I get is that pawns will sometimes stop working on plants and their entire AI breaks, and I'm not capable of testing each and every single plant, especially not when it takes 30+ minutes to launch rimworld and then get into a game every single time I start a game. If you find one, please please PLEASE tell me so I can fix it.

Roadmap:

The next step involves using the plants currently in the mod to create the intended systems, such as woodworking, textiles, drugs, and cooking. Once all features work as intended with the mod in its current state, I will continue adding plants, as I have quite a few I have plans for adding, at least eighty more.

I intend to replace the need for mods such as vanilla plants expanded, vegetable garden, the regrowth series, underground food, caveworld flora, and so on, with texture support for a handful of biome mods--including alpha biomes. To do this, I need to make the plants that exist in all of these mods, and then make the mods recognize mine and either use my textures (if you still want to use their version, they will be compatible!) or have my plants replace theirs for expanded mods that use the food such as cooking expanded, garden canning, etc.

My reasoning for replacing all of these mods is because my computer is poor and running dozens of mods makes it weep, so I want to make a mod that does it all while still having full compatibility for other people's tastes.

I'm currently working exclusively in textures, XML Defs, and XML Patches, so if anyone wants to offer C# knowledge to assist me to make this easier (Such as a mod menu that allows people to select options and whatnot), I would be grateful as I've never touched that code and I know I'm not ready to try learning it.

The description and images still need to be updated, particularly my credits section, but I've been focused on pumping out textures for the vanilla game and getting those plants programmed in before doing anything else.

I would also love to make season-specific textures, such as snow on plants when it snows, falling leaves in fall, little flowers when appropriate in spring, and certain plants that only grow in certain temperatures or on certain terrain. As of now I don't know how to do any of this and know some of it needs C#, so if someone wants to offer their help, I would be grateful.

Art would also be very helpful, as things like workbenches, furniture, and decor would be difficult for me to draw.
