another version, another weird way to say "beta"! bar version DELTA is now up and running
you already know what to expect if you played the pre-upload delta, but if you didn't, the patch notes will help!

this will be the last version of bar before the complete release!

PATCH NOTES:
= fixed bug that messed with the hurtbox if you do an attack or dodge while using the skill menu
= whenever the skill menu is brought up on training mode, it will reset the cursor position to light dagger's position (top left)
= skill menu will also loop around itself, so you don't need to press 4 times for a skill that's on the the other side of the selection
= at the start of a match, after bar closes the menu he will have invincibility for 90 frames (similar to respawn invincibility)
= if the skill select menu is closed earlier than the match starting, it will now allow bar to move without extra delay
= initial dash speed nerfed, dash speed increased
= jab 4's knockback angle is sending more diagnally up (10 -> 30)
= all of the jabs' hitpause had been fixed, it was an astronomically high number that was not intended
= F-strong's back hitbox disabled, but increased the size of the front hitbox, aswell as bringing it back a bit (size: x:30 y:50 -> x:60 y:40) (x position: 48 -> 32)
= F-air hitbox arrangement altered (it now has 2 sourspots above and below following the animation, with the sweetspot being between those two)
= B-air's sourspot now sends forward instead of backwards
= a frame in U-strong's animation was altered to portray the hitboxes better
= photon blast angle flipper changed from 8 to 3
= fixed problem with chasm burster's explosions staying in place if used as up special
= photon blast will reset it's charge when you use the move again, preventing turbo/"divine punishment" from messing with it
= fixed visual bug where guard aura on "divine punishment" will not show the hitspark when releasing the move
= added custom hit particles to moves that spawn hitboxes outside of the attack itself (like chasm burster)
= made bar's gauntlet take the color of his light, rather than his light blue clouthes on the portraits
= slightly altered "fiery racing spirit" alt's colors
= renamed "star guardian" alt to "stellar traveller"
= altered the "divine punishment" alt's fire on the portraits
= slightly increased camera shake on "divine punishment" when you start dashing
= divine punishment"s screen shake on landing now only applies if bar fastfalls
= charging a strong on "divine punishment" will now shake the screen too
= altered "divine punishment"s ancient text to have a faded outline

+ jab 3 is overall faster (startup: 6 -> 4 | attack: 8 -> 6 | endlag: 10 -> 8)
+ jab 3's knockback angle is sending more diagnally up to make it more combo-friendly (10 -> 40)
+ jab 4 is overall faster (startup: 12 -> 8 | attack: 10 -> 8 | endlag: 12 -> 8)
+ U-tilt sourspot base hitpause increased (3 -> 6)
+ D-tilt hitpause scaling added (0.2)
+ N-air base hitpause increased (4 -> 5)
+ U-air base hitpause increased and hitpause scaling added (base hitpause: 4 -> 6 | hitpause scaling: 0.2)
+ D-air knockback scaling increased (0.7 -> 0.9)
+ D-air's startup is slightly faster so it can chain with accel blitz (15 -> 12)
+ U-strong's 2nd projectile (normal version) knockback and knockback scaling increase (base kb: 5 -> 7 | kb scaling: 0.7 -> 0.9)
+ U-strong's 2nd projectile (burning version) kb scaling increase (0.8 -> 1.1)
+ U-strong's 2nd projectile size increase (8x40 -> 16x60)
+ U-strong's 2nd projectile is now aimable, if you press left or right while bar is about to throw the spear, you can change it's trajectory (it will also deflect in different angles)
+ light dagger knockback increased (3 -> 5)
+ light dagger extra hitpause added (4)
+ decrease air friction on chasm burster in the air (0.3 -> 0.1)
+ added a hitbox when bar starts to fall with chasm burster in the air
+ taunt hitbox size increased (x:16 y:16 -> x:24 y:32)
+ taunt lifetime slightly increased (1 -> 2)
+ "divine punishment" force leap is now doesn't pratfall

+ ACCEL BLITZ ADDED! accel blitz allows bar to travel in lightspeed to a spot he chooses. holding down special will make him go further! bar has a small time window he can attack in, preventing pratfalling!
+ EMBER FIST ADDED! bar will shoot a close ranged flamethrower-like projectile that does consecutive damage and inflicts holy burning. it can also be aimed slightly up or down!
+ THEIKOS STRONGS ADDED! the "divine punishment" alt has different strongs from the normal alt, and now are in game as intended!
* F-strong will make bar punch the foe consecutively, the more you charge, the more punches he will do!
* U-strong will create a pillar of light that gets wider and stays longer the more you charge!
* D-strong will allow bar to charge a fireball and throw it to the ground, but when it hits the ground it will set it on fire! the longer you charge- you get the point

+ ADDED NEW 16 COLOR ALTS!
* i also rearranged and renamed some of the alts, so your favorite alts might be at a different spot
* the "early access" and "demake"(NES) alts now have a chiptune version of bar's victory theme

+ ADDED COLORED HITBOXES!
* yellow hitboxes symbolize sweetspots in attacks, and cyan hitboxes will inflict holy burn on enemies!
* when you use burning fury you will be able to tell more easily which moves will inflict holy burn!

- all of the jab hitstuns reduced
- removed all angle flippers from the jab combo
- jabs now locking people inside it less, it's recommended to use tilts or skills to extend your combo
- F-air sourspot lifetime decreased (6 -> 4)
- F-air sweetspot base knockback decreased (7 -> 5)
- D-air sweetspot base knockback decreased (9 -> 6)
- F-strong is no longer turnable
- uncharged photon blast will now come out at least after 25 frames since pressing the input (14 -> 25) (excluding divine punishment)
- chasm burster projectile damage decreased (normal: 6 -> 4 | burning fury buffed: 11 -> 8)
- added parry stun to chasm buster
- guard aura is active 8 seconds, and will not do the counter attack automatically (consumes 50 MP total)
- taunt damage decreased (12 -> 10)
- "divine punishment"s initial dash speed and dash speed nerfed to be more controllable

i've finally decided to upload bar's new wip version: version GAMMA!

he has a lot going on in this version, he plays basically worlds apart from the beta version, packed with more damage, more strongs, and 2 new skills!

PATCH NOTES:
= bar's offsets now overlap with the stage as they should
= bar's idle is now slightly slimmer to fit the rest of his sprites
= bar runs as fast as zetterburn, but his initial dash speed is slightly slower
= gliding is altered for the addition of the B-air, it will now only turn around if bar is going at almost max speed in midair
= light dagger has hit sound effects now
= burning fury's activation blast is now in front of bar
= force leap has a new leaping sound
= added mini mana gauge that is following bar, it will appear whenever you gain mana, when you de/activate "mana debug mode", and when you don't have enough MP
= "No MP" now says "Low MP" and makes the arrow under his nametag flash
= when you don't have mana left the game will play an error sound
= added sound effect when you run out of mana from using burning fury/guard aura
= fixed burning fury's rapid mana deplete if you hit people durring the activation
= alts will now inflict different colored outlines on burning enemies
= mana debug natural MP regen speed doubled (i'm concidering making it infinite mana instead)
= replaced "mysterious friend" alt with "fiery racing spirit" alt (made by splatracer)
= added new alt names for the seasonal alts, it will not longer say "festive angel" on all seasons

+ bar spawns and respawns with 100 MP, rather than 0
+ parrying attacks gives 25 MP instead of 10
+ double jump now works like a normal jump, and not a discount absa djump
+ all moves deal more damage now
+ jab 1 hitpause increased, and it's faster
+ jab 1 has less friction to make dash -> jab more effective
+ jab 2 is slightly faster
+ jab 3 is faster
+ F-tilt hitboxes are bigger and deal more identical values
+ F-tilt has slightly less friction on the first window
+ D-tilt is faster
+ slightly decreased friction on D-tilt, if you dash and instantly D-tilt you will do a fast slide kick
+ N-air stays active for longer, is slightly faster, and deals more knockback
+ F-air hitboxes are bigger
+ F-air has an extra sweetspot hitbox
+ U-air is faster
+ D-air hitboxes are slightly bigger and sourspot deals more knockback
+ light dagger knockback and hitstun increased (and by extention, the burning light daggers too)
+ burning fury's activation attack and dash attack startup are slightly faster
+ burning fury's dash attack is untechable
+ burning fury stun attack's hitbox is bigger
+ burning fury final blast on the grounded version launches slightly upwards (it sent at a very low angle)
+ force leap stalls in midair before the leap
+ photon blast connects properly
+ photon blast knockback buffed slightly so it will be better than U-strong

+ ADDED STRONGS AND B-AIR!
* like skills/specials, strongs will disable the burning fury buff only if they hit certain hitboxes:
* F-strong: the front hitbox (the stronger one)
* U-strong: burning light axe swing / thrown burning light spear (if the axe hits first the spear will be a normal light spear)
* D-strong: the final hit

+ ADDED SKILL SELECT!
* bar can now start mixing up his playstyle with 2 new moves!
* chasm burster added to the skill roster! chasm burster is a grounded, close-ranged attack that bursts out 4 holy fire pillars from the ground and knock foes upward
* guard aura added to the skill roster! guard aura is a mobile counter that burns mp over time, it will activate if you either get hit or manually. it also has a 2 sec cooldown for balancing's sake (cooldown disabled for "divine punishment")

+ ENABLED STRONGS ON THE "DIVINE PUNISHMENT" ALT!
* the "divine punishment" alt will have different strongs, but for now it has the normal 3 strongs
* on this alt, you can use strongs in midair

- MP gain while attacking decreased to match the new damage output
- jabs 2 and 3 hitpause decreased
- F-air hitpause decreased
- burning fury's activation attack has less hitstun
- made the "divine punishment" alt actually killable
- nerfed "divine punishment" alt's dashing speed

WORKSHOP COMPATIBILITY:
