SATCOM PATCH NOTES - August 7th, 2022
THE AIR ASSAULT UPDATE - VERSION 1.4

Gameplay Changes:
-Fixed deployables not costing construction
-Changed Mortar damagetype to Kinetic.
-Dramatically reduced effectiveness of mortars against HQ
-All Infantry kit shovel speeds increased by 100%
-Team-wide LAT kit scaling increased from 8 to 16.
-Infantry Squads may now have 3 LAT kits.
-Added Artillery Firing and Warning sounds

UI Changes:
-Added tooltip overlays for Unit buttons (vehicles and helipads
-Added black border to build/vehicle/ability buttons
-Build/vehicle/ability buttons have better font readability and can wrap to a second line
-Added two transport truck spawns to starting vehicle lineup.

Vehicle Changes:
-AH-6 flight model overhaul.
-AH-6 overall health decreased.
-Balance pass on Armored Logis to bring them more in line with each other.
-Increased maneuverability of heliborne ATGMs.
-Decreased gravity of sidemounted Gsh-30-k on MI-24P from 1.25 to 1.
-Increased turret acceleration of AAA vehicles by 25%
-Reduced price of TOW vehicles to 1200.

Building Changes:
-Removed Medium Walls
-Increased Turret heights to peer over high walls.
-Turret Detection Origin Replacement
-Reduced radial fragmentation damage taken by buildings to 0.
-HQ Door Fix.
-Increased min damage radius of artillery strike for consistency.
-Service Depots now resupply flares
-Flare Rearm Service Depot Collision Query Fix
-Decreased AT Turret energy consumption to 50
-Slide Door BP Replication
-Added failsafe to HQ slide door code in case players spawn within the overlap trigger.

Weapon Changes:
-Added a small amount of splash damage to 7.62mm Miniguns to increase effectiveness against infantry.

SATCOM PATCH NOTES - July 29th, 2022
THE AIR ASSAULT UPDATE - VERSION 1.3

Weapon Changes:
-MANPAD rearm cost set to 170.

Building Changes:
-AT Turret MOA decreased to 20 from 25.
-Added aim offsets for armored logis to turrets.
-Artillery Strike renamed to Explosive Strike.
-Temporarily removed Howitzer Station (the five-pack)
-Set research facility to 8500 construction

Vehicle Changes:
-Reduced AH-6 Armor from 5mm to 3mm.
-MI-24 and variants now have the same maneuverability as the Apache.
-Increased MI-24 acceleration by 14.726%
-Reduced MI-24 engine and tail rotor health by 12.835%
-AH-6 Copilot orientation fix.
-AH-6 Hydra-70 rocket gravity changed from 1.9 to 2.8.
-AAA vehicle max turret rotation speed increased by 25%

Bug Fixes/Miscellaneous:
-Console unpossess the commander pawn properly
-Commander pawn checks to see if it has a valid reference to the solider, and if that solider is killed or wounded. If so, it simulates an F press.
-PIE only: removed HQ print statement for construction/ammo
-Added is valid checks to skylight disabler.

SATCOM PATCH NOTES - July 25th, 2022
THE AIR ASSAULT UPDATE - VERSION 1.2

Map Changes:
-Added Mutaha Seeding Layer.
-Fixed Mutaha middle oil derrick capture zones UI location.
-Decreased health of oil derricks that spawn on map from 2850 to 2200.

Weapon Changes:
-Increased Stinger reload time from 4.05 to 8.1
-Increased Stinger rearm cost to 180.
-Increased amount of carryable Stinger missiles to 3 from 2.
-Decoupled Specialist team size requirements for AA kits.
-Increased amount of players required for second AA kit to 12 from 10.

Gameplay Changes:
-All non-crewman kit vehicles no longer require claims.
-Reduced amount of people needed to claim 4 vehicles down from 6 to 4.
-Doubled amount of ammo in Rifleman ammo bags.
-Fixed volume + audio concurrency for "Enemy Unit Sighted" audio announcement.
-Increased Resource Depot capacity from 50k/50k to 75k/75k

Vehicle Changes:
-Made heliborne ATGM aiming more consistent and easier.
-Base price of Armored Logis decreased to 1000 from 1200.
-Base price of open-top light vehicles decreased to 400 from 500.
-Base price of RWS light vehicles decreased from 750 to 600.
-Base price of Tier 2 light vehicles decreased from 850 to 700.
-Base price of ATGM light vehicles decreased from 1275 to 1250.
-Base price of APCs decreased from 1075 to 1000.
-Base price of AAA decreased from 1550 to 1500.
-Base price of IFVs decreased from 1625 to 1600.
-Base price fo MBTs increased from 3300 to 4000.
-Base price of Tier 1 CAS helicopters decreased from 2350 to 2250.

-Reduced Oil Derrick cost from 3550 to 2500.

-Research Facility Price increased to 9000.
-AT Turret damage decreased from 3300 to 3000.

THE AIR ASSAULT UPDATE - VERSION 1.1

Gameplay Changes:
-Added Mutaha
-Added Talil Seeding Layer.
-Added Constructible Oil Derricks to provide passive resource generation.
-Reduced AA kit unlock requirements to 3 and 10 players.
-Added deployable sandbags to each infantry fighting kit.
-Reduced Helicopter altitude limit from 1500m to 400m.
-Removed watchtowers from southern Resource Depot on Talil.
-Cleared debris from southern Resource Depot on Talil.
-Increased height Resource Depot pickup zones to allow Helicopters to more easily pick up resources.

-MI-24 Flight model edit (slightly more maneuverable, less acceleration)
-Base price of APC reduced to 1050 from 1075.
-Edited exposure compensation of AH64 Pilot camera
-Increased MI-24 ammo capacity to 400 from 300.
-Allowed all CAS helicopters to zoom in to acquire targets easier.
-CAS rockets now lose 80% of their respective muzzle velocity over 2 seconds instead of a flat 570 m/s over 1.9 seconds.
-Reduced helicopter build times to be more in line with ground vehicles.
-Increased attack heli flare count to 96.
-Attack heli health increased to 1225.
-Increased artillery barrage time from 60 to 90 seconds.
-Increased AH-6 GAU-19/A price from 2430 to 2565.
-Increased MI-8TVK price from 2700 to 2850.
-Increased artillery station health from 900 to 950.

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed issue where AH-64 rotor blades would decapitate pilots.
-Made it so that pilots don't take helicopter burning damage to possibly fix loss of control bug when critical health.
-Fixed Sandbox foliage collisions.
-Building tooltip fixes.
-Fixed based defense construction state replicaiton bug caused recently.
For helicopter flare warnings:
-increased server "incoming missle refresh" frequency to 1 second.
-added looping client check to update UI and incoming missile tone.
-Turrets now use collision sphere only and not child BP. Only targets vehicles, and refreshes vehicle list every 2 seconds
-Midday Lighting Exposure edits to compensate for bug when resolution scale is above 100%.
-Fixed watchtower collision
-Volume adjustments for CAS 50-cal variants
-Covered up gap in HQ.
-Made sure MATV TOW and BRDM-2 Spandrel don't start with ammo.
-Added back Rallies to Russian Inf squad leaders

SATCOM PATCH NOTES - July 16th, 2022

THE AIR ASSAULT UPDATE - HOTFIX 2


Weapon Changes:

-Added old M4/M4A1 sounds.

-Added custom AK-74 sounds.


Vehicle Changes:

-Fixed AH-6 damage effect location.

-Allowed players to manually ride on or inside helicopters.

-Stinger does line trace for first 50m and (larger) sphere trace after 50m. Line trace uses complex collision, so it should feel more accurate and reliable.

-Increased flare count from 30 to 64.


Building Changes:

-Barracks now has two ammo crates.

-Added ammo crates to the HQ interior and roof area.


UI Changes:

-Flare tutorial widget hides when not in a vehicle.

-Helicopters check to see if "incoming missile" is correct on the server every 5 seconds.


Miscellaneous Changes:

-Fixed some "access none" errors in MI24VP Turret.

SATCOM PATCH NOTES - July 14th, 2022

THE AIR ASSAULT UPDATE - HOTFIX

Building Changes:

-Added a New Building: Research Facility

-Reduced Service Depot price from 3300 to 1250.

-Reduced Service Depot health from 950 to 720.

-Reduced Service Depot construction time from 36 to 18 seconds.

-Locked IFVs, MBTs, AHs, AT Turrets, Artillery, and Ultra Walls behind the Research Facility.

-Reduced steer amount on vehicle spawn by half.

-Cleaned up building placement collisions.


UI Changes:

-Commander UI now supports 3x5 build buttons

-Edited artillery tooltips to reflect new stats and functionality.


Vehicle Changes:

-Increased UH-60 Transport/Logi capacity from 1000 to 1500.

-Added Research Facility + Thumbnail.

-MI-24 wreck collision fix.

-Added ability for BRDM-2 Spandrel and M-ATV TOW variants to be damaged by radial damage from HEAT damagetype.

-Added sound cue to signal when changing firing mode on AH-6 rocket pods.

-On Fire Weapon Override fix (connected reroute node) (radios / deployables fixed)

-Allowed Stinger and Igla to rearm both magazines at once.

-Increase MANPAD rearm cost from 90 to 135.

-Edited artillery tooltips to reflect new stats and functionality.

SATCOM Patch Notes - July 10th, 2022 - The Air Assault Update

Introducing the Air Assault update, featuring a large variety of brand new aircraft and anti-aircraft assets for players to use! Take to the skies as devastating Attack Helicopters or dominate the airspace from the ground using a selection of Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Guns and MANPADs!

Gameplay Changes:

-Added a variety of Air and Anti-Air assets.

-HQ now passively generates income.

-Dramatically reduced damage taken by HQ from Artillery.

Weapons and Kits:

-Added FIM-92 Stinger to US.

-Added Anti-Aircraft Kits to US.

-Added 9K38 Igla to RU.

-Added Anti-Aircraft Kits to RU.


Vehicle Changes:

-Reduced base prices of transport helicopters from 1200 to 1000.

-Reduced base prices of Tier 1 CAS helicopters from 2500 to 2450.

-Prices of all ground vehicles reduced by 10% for RU.

-Prices of all air vehicles reduced by 10% for US.

-Introduced a variety of different vehicle handling setups for each helicopter.
