This update was originally about blocks and furniture, but we somehow ended up updating almost every sprite that was already in the pack and adding some more. There were +2500 image files before this update, and now there's +4400.
Anyway, here's a summary of the update (full changelog further below):
- A LOT of items were added and resprited. This includes weapons, mounts and pets
- As you would expect, this update had a lot of new and resprited blocks
- Trees and other ambient objects were resprited, and we even added the new ash stuff!
- Almost all furniture sets were added
- Ores are now more distinct
- A LOT of NPCs were added and resprited as well
- Villagers now follow our new player template
- We added SLIMEAGERS! Yes, that is their name!
- We didn't add any new bosses, but we resprited all of the existing ones! Some of them even have entirely new concepts!
- We added Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese languages!
- The UI was revamped!
- Now instead of mana, magic weapons will consume YOUR SOUL! Don't worry, it regenerates
- Minimap borders? Yessir
- We have lore! Why? Why not?
- All add-ons were updated
- "Actual Mechs" was rebranded to "Faithful Bosses", and now has more old boss sprites
- "22" was rebraded to "Silly Bosses", and now has an i forgor Skeletron. We'll probably add more in the future
- The Music Pack is now complete (and no longer weighs 2GB)!
- We changed a lot of other stuff, like the logo, clouds and inventory icons
