Major update
  • Bots were added! Now you can play the gamemode even if you don't have friends, woohoo! They have randomized names, skill levels, even tactics. Although they're stupid, they're still pretty competent fighters, even using abilities. They require a NavMesh, of course!
  • "Quick Reload" was removed, since it's outmatched by every other ability. Instead, there's now "Infinite Ammo" which does the same thing but better, and is actually viable.
  • Dash is now dirt cheap to use.
  • Damage scale is now displayed to the side of crosshair.
  • Map now automatically cleans up after every round (cvar)
  • Attempted to fix a bug with model mismatches (it's still there, but in 80% of cases the game detects and fixes it)
  • Players won't spawn inside each other and instantly die a million times per second when there's 1 spawn location
  • Players can't take damage during prep phase
  • Minor tweaks to existing abilities. Namely, meathook is ever so slightly more powerful, and grenades are now more likely to blast into your enemies' face.
  • Fall damage reduced. I think. Or was it the previous patch? I don't remember, but it certainly was reduced at some point
  • Minor improvements and bug fixes.

Unfortunately this is not QCardWars 1.1. But hey, at least something.

Balance update
  • Flashbang AoE made bigger
  • Yellow triangles will display around current winner's name
  • Grenade deals slightly more damage
  • Quick Reload gives +75% DMG as opposed to +30%
  • Some other stuff I forgot, but that's mostly it

Technical patch.
  • Removed the unused field "type" in the abilities from the code. It's a leftover from pre-release versions, when you could only have 2 abilities, one of offensive type and one of defensive. It's not needed anymore, as you can pick any ability you want at any time.
  • Players who joined during the game will now automatically spectate.

Day 0 patch.

After testing out the gamemode in real game conditions, it became clear that a few tweaks had to be made.
  • Restore: Charge 75 -> 100; Restores less HP and Armor.
  • Flashbang: Charge 85 -> 75.
  • Dash: Reworked; Easier to control now.
  • Dealing damage to non-players no longer restores ability charge.
  • Every 10 rotations, every player receives damage equal to the number of rotations. In other words, 10 rotations = 10 damage, 20 rotations = 20 damage and so on.
  • Refusing or failing to deal damage while having a weapon results in punishment to prevent stall rounds.
  • The ability charge meter is now more smooth.
  • Minor bug fixes and changes.
