Major update to a few bomb module lists:

The Soloturion –
Removed:
• Atbash Cipher
• Bases
• Bloxx
• Broken Binary
• The Digit
• Flash Memory
• Spelling Bee
• Ultralogic
• Venn Diagrams
• Widdershins
Added:
• Adventure Game
• Alphabet
• Caesar Cipher
• The Code
• Curriculum
• Digital Root
• English Test
• Follow The Leader
• Letter Keys
• Switches

I’d actually been planning some changes to this bomb for a while, largely because I realized my intention for the theme of the bomb had changed. I originally made it to be “My First 100 Solos xd” but put a little bit of the Centurion-era theme with it. I’d been sitting on a list of changes that would have altered about a fifth of the modules here to make it more “Soloable Modules from the Cent Era”, and then Benjamin and Bianca became the first people to solve the bomb! Because of that, I’ve decided to let this fill the middle ground—I’m moving it back towards the Centurion era a bit, but still allowing some of my personal choices to slip through. To Benjamin and Bianca, huge thanks to you guys; I’m really glad you enjoyed it. These changes won’t be significant enough to invalidate your solve in any way, or necessitate a “Legacy Version,” but these are some changes I needed to make to the mission to satisfy my goals for what this mission should represent.

Not Your Grandpa’s 47 –
Removed:
• Custom Keys
• Boozlesnap
• Constellations
• 3x Macro Memory
• The Samsung
• Seven Choose Four
• Simon Subdivides
• The Tile Maze
Added:
• Mystery Module
• Encrypted Maze
• Name Codes
• Not Colour Flash
• Papa’s Pizzeria
• Simon Shapes
• The Speaker
• Stack’em
• Stacked Sequences
• Yellow Cipher

This bomb was meant to be a callback to Timwi’s 47, but in its previous state, it was substantially more difficult, with lesser-known modules and modules that are far more inconsistent in their average solve length. Given how tight the time limit is, these changes are meant to rectify that issue and make it a substantially more reasonable challenge. Now, the pace should only be slightly more demanding than The 47.

Alternative Affinities –
Added:
• Color Math
• Block Stacks to the needy pool
Removed:
• Souvenir
• Lights Out from the needy pool

I realized I like Souvenir a little less than this bomb would suggest, and I like only having two true bosses and one semiboss per Affinities bomb, so this is a big nerf, and I get to slot in one of my old favorites. Plus Block Stacks is an underrated needy.

Unfortunately Unsurprising –
Added:
• Nomai
• Random Number Generator
Removed:
• Needlessly Complicated Button
• Hot Potato

I know Nomai and I like it and it fits the theme and I don’t want Needlessly Complicated Button. Also, why the hell did I ever think it was a good idea to include this dogshit needy.

Grandpa’s 47 –
Added 15 minutes.

It’s a meme but I want it to be possible. I did not know about the cheat strat previously.

Update: 28 Aug, 2021 @ 7:34am

Ornithala –
Removed:
• Sysadmin
• Green Cipher from the pool with Blue Cipher
• Violet Cipher from the pool with Red Cipher
Added:
• Synesthesia

Locking in some pools and switching out a very difficult module for a tricky solo, but much easier module overall.

Simon’s 47 –
Removed:
• Flashing Lights
• Quintuples
• Recolored Switches
• Reverse Morse
• Synchronization
Added:
• Fire Diamonds
• Not X01
• Simon Secures
• Simon Signals
• Simon’s Satire

Adding in some of the newer Simon modules (and some other similar mechanics), sacrificing a few modules that don’t fit Simon’s vibe as well.

Solo Connoisseur –
Removed:
• Binary
• Complicated Wires
• Extended Password
• Morse Code
• Wire Sequence
• Cookie Jars
Added:
• 1D Maze
• Anomia
• Bridges
• Directing Buttons
• One-Line
• Whiteout

Changed some solos to be more *exotic* (also Cookie Jars is on a few solo bombs now, so I thought Whiteout might be more interesting).

Update: 10 Aug, 2021 @ 3:02pm

Major Update – v2.0
Added eleven new bombs:
• Alternative Affinities – The sequel to Unreasonable Affinities, featuring many of my favorite modules that didn’t make the cut for the first one. Slightly larger, with a more generous timer, but the pace should be similar. (59 modules/100 minutes)
• Unfortunately Unsurprising – Made with the help of the community poll that many of you filled out (thanks everyone!), you will sigh with exasperation when that one condition, that shouldn’t be as common as it seems, rears its ugly head once again—multiple times over the course of this bomb. (55 modules/120 minutes)
• Ornithala – This is a challenging mission with the blessing of the Bird God, himself! A very work-heavy bomb with some unique modules. (47 modules/120 minutes)
• Solo Connoisseur – A treat for anyone with good taste in solo modules, though you’re gonna have to pick up the pace. (47 modules/40 minutes)
• Simon’s 47 – A collection of all but the most egregious of Simon modules, with some friends tagging along to fill out the roster. (47 modules/90 minutes)
• The 47 But Evil – Oh no… (47 modules/300 minutes)
• Orientation Week – A sequence mission that gets progressively more difficult and can be used to practice learning bosses and other commonly encountered modules. This is designed to be accessible, though not easy by any means, for new players, and it should still pose a mild challenge for more experienced players. (29/35, 23/32.5, 23/35, 17/17.5, 11/17.5, 11/17.5; Total: 7 bombs/131 modules/180 minutes)
• Not Your Grandpa’s 47 – A very demanding mission filled with newer and trickier modules than you would’ve seen back in the days of The 47. Requested by OEGamer (47 modules/60 minutes)
• Grandpa’s 47 – Heh… (47 modules/30 minutes)
• Hold It – A bomb that shouldn’t be terribly difficult… Wait… is that what I think it is…? Requested by givemeheals (49 modules/90 minutes)
• The Blind Man – A bomb designed to be sightreadable. Even the most experienced of you will probably walk in not knowing a few of these. Requested by givemeheals (59 modules/80 minutes)

Update: 5 Aug, 2021 @ 1:17am

Unreasonable Affinities –
Removed:
• Lion’s Share
• Pattern Cube
• S.E.T.
Added:
• Fast Math
• Light Cycle
• Switches

These changes will make the bomb more accurately reflect the list of my favorite modules from my earlier days in the game, with the side effect of also making the bomb a little easier. But don’t worry, these modules will be returning soon…

Unassuming Raritiies –
Removed:
• Bordered Keys and Recorded Keys from a pool.
Added:
• Misordered and Reordered Keys to the aforementioned pool.

A small change requested by the mission creator. The pool is now [Disordered Keys, Misordered Keys, Reordered Keys].

The Mandate –
Adjusted the mission description once again to account for a change to the module’s settings. (It wasn’t my fault this time.)

Update: 3 Aug, 2021 @ 7:35pm

Small update to actually make the Organization change on the Mandate work properly, as well as integrating the DMG mission string feature to make creating future missions easier.

Update: 2 Aug, 2021 @ 6:57pm

The Soloturion –
Removed The 12 Days of Christmas, 3x3 Grid, Alphabetical Order, Block Stacks, Color Match, Knob, Morse Identification, Refill that Beer!, Snap!, Venting Gas, and Venting Gas Translated from the needy pool. The needy is now set to Color Punch.

Unreasonable Affinities –
Removed The 12 Days of Christmas, Morse Identification, Red Light, Green Light, and Simon Literally Says from the needy pool. The pool is now [NeedyKnob, 3x3Grid, hideAndSeek, romanNumeralsModule].

The Mandate –
Description changed to set Organization’s ignore and move to back settings as false. Organization will now call for many solve-dependent modules that had been previously ignored on this mission. Thanks eXish!

Update: 28 Jun, 2021 @ 10:53am

Unassuming Rarities -
Removed:
Black Cipher
Bordered Keys
Remote Math
Robot Programming
Added:
{Black Cipher, Indigo Cipher, Orange Cipher}
{Bordered Keys, Disordered Keys, Recorded Keys}
Currents
What’s On Second

Update: 29 May, 2021 @ 2:17pm

Unreasonable Affinities:
Time reduced from 87 minutes to 77 minutes
Time before needy activation reduced from 4 minutes to 3.5 minutes
Removed The Sphere and Quintuples
Added Rubik's Cube and Visual Impairment

These changes will make the bomb better reflect its theme. The time cut is quite severe, but I have replaced two quite heavy work modules, one with a very long read and the other with a very long input, with a relatively quick interactive and a substantially easier read with a longish input. Overall, the bomb should now be a bit more difficult, even if the modules got easier. It now has a slightly higher points/minute threshold than the Centurion.
Also, I know how y'all feel about Flu$h modules, so you're welcome. :P

Update: 24 May, 2021 @ 10:31pm

The Mandate module list:
Removed Not Crazy Talk and Regular Crazy Talk
Added Thread the Needle and Five Letter Words

Update: 23 May, 2021 @ 11:26am

Actually remembered to add The Yoloist to the TOC this time.
