Update 1.2
This week, we are completing our studies on the Paleogene with a trio of animals found not in the Monte Bolca formation, but from the greater area of the Tethys Ocean.

New this Update:

Pterosphenus schweinfurthi, a sea snake from the paleocene and eocene, this predator stuck to shallower coastlines and mangrove forests as a way to avoid competing with the predatory whales of its day.

Eotheroides aegyptiacum, an early dugong from what is now Egypt, this mammal still had its hind flippers but otherwise lived very similarly to its contemporary relatives.

Dorudon atrox, an agile predator of the open waters, this early whale did not yet have the echolocation of its descendants but was a successful predator none the less and will require considerable care in an aquarium.
Bug fixes:
Fixed code for Narcine and Sphyraena
Added new tags for Eras, Epochs and Ages

Update 1.1
This week, we completed our study on Monte Bolca fish with two predators that visited the ancient reef. Both of these fish have close living relatives you might recognize.

New this Update:

Narcine molini, this electric ray sticks close to the bottom of the reef and uses their natural batteries to stun prey.

Sphyraena bolcensis, this smaller member of the Sphyraena genus hunted in larger shoals, using numbers to protect them from larger predators.
