large rope is deprecated and the item is gone. Your existing large ropes should not disappear.
former small rope item lets you customize the radius in the UI (open with F / the "tool menu" binding)

Support recoloring of the decorative canvas tool by middle clicking on painted blocks before placing the canvas.
