Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-changes include:

  • Repair items added:
    -Oxygen tanks
    -Gas mask filters
    -bleach (vanilla)
    Can be found on special zombies and in areas you’d expect to find them.

    Added ability to see ‘filtering’ bar on mask items.

  • Custom zombie types now added to randomly spawn. Each have a chance to spawn with mask items.They include:
    -Hazmat suit zombies
    -Various special Military zombies
    -Firefighter zombies
    -Police riot zombies
    -Survivor type zombies

  • Dust mask boxes have been added to the game, and hold 10 dust masks. Can be found in areas you’d expect them to be in.

  • Added Sandbox Options. This includes the ability to make everyone Susceptible on a server, add instant sudden death to infection, chances for custom zombie types to appear & a few others.

  • Added fix to allow Susceptible trait to stay in multiplayer servers.

  • Added mask mod compatibility for:
    -Better Masks (updated)
    -Fallout Ranger Armour
    -Brita pack (Shemaghs)
    -Paw Lot Cleric mask

  • Added functional mod compatibility for:
    -Antibodies

Changes include:

  • Mask filtering is now entirely separate from a mask's condition. The air will no longer act like acid, so your masks & headgear will still remain intact physically but won't protect you from the virus if their filters drain!

  • Medical mask boxes have been added. Pharmacies & medical areas will have medical mask boxes that will contain invaluable medical masks.

  • Cloth masks are now their own item. Now you can equip them with ease, unlike vanilla bandana face masks.

  • Susceptible trait cost changed from +7 points to +11 points.

  • Added all new awesome Mask UI that indicates the condition of your worn mask. Once condition runs out, you will be likely to get the zombie virus from close contact with zombies.

  • You will now be unable to eat with a mask on when in an area likely to cause infection. When in safer areas, you will automatically unequip/reequip your mask upon eating actions.

  • Will get anxiety from close proximity with zombies, based on zombie numbers and mask condition. This makes it harder to know if you are truly infected!

  • Added compatibility for the following mod items:
    Better Masks
    STALKER - Sunrise Suit
    Project Fallout: Legionary Armors

  • A full rework and overhaul of the infection model. The virus will now obey physics, meaning walls and floors are properly accounted for!
  • Additional mechanics around mask durability were added to cause them to degrade faster in the presence of more zombies.
  • Cars now protect you from the virus! Assuming the windows are intact and rolled up, that is.
