Campaign Update pt. 2 6-23-22

Attributes

- Popularity reworked at the high tiers, especially public order buffs and debuffs, to be less dominant as a trait
- Management gives public order buffs\debuffs, and at higher tiers, decreases construction time significantly, and allows the tax edict to be far more effective

Taxes

- Your generals will now hate you for taxing them, after all, they are already winning your wars?? (lower loyalty) conversely, they will be especially grateful for lower taxes (higher loyalty)

Campaign Variables

- Resources are twice as valuable
- Doubled the integrity that comes from being king-faction leader's own
- Increased army integrity from raiding

Loyalty

- Increased chance of defection at lv 1 loyalty, lv 2 loyalty, and tiny chance of defection at lv 3 loyalty, to add even more unpredictability to the loyalty system

Temples and Public Order

- Barbarian and Eastern temples give +4 base public order, compared to their inspid vanilla public order buff

- Hellenistic, Punic and Roman temples add substantial base public order, rather than just public order based on how much influence your culture has

Campaign Changelog 6-12-22 Loyalty, Attributes, Taxes

- Decreased loyalty debuffs for high attribute levels
- Fixed incorrect effect scope for taxes, loyalty debuffs should apply correctly

Taxes:

- low tiers of taxes have increased buffs to PO and growth, to balance out the increased big drop in income when choosing low taxes

Loyalty and Taxes

- Reworked mismatches between loyalty effects and loyalty factors causing random rebellions
- Tweaked loyalty effects for balance

- Fixed taxes not giving loyalty debuff because of incorrect effect scope
- Taxes give loyalty debuff by default, but minimal taxes increase loyalty
- Taxes give integrity debuff
- taxes increase corruption, but give more income as you increase them. conversely, lower taxes give less income

Trade and Resources @Swarbs

- Tariffs decreased by half to stop OP trading from early game
- Resources buffed from 0.1 GDP to 0.5 GDP buff

Character\Army Skills: Skill Treshold, Governorship and Public Order @Rui Ming

- Skill thresholds increased further: its even harder to level up!
- MASSIVELY increased the threshold to level up positive skill traits: no more top level traits within a dozen turns
- PO buffs reduced by HALF
- Added native discontent for Provincial Governor, and Supreme Magistrate

Agent Attributes - Spies

- Spies recruitment cost increased, agent success chance massively decreased per positive attribute level, to decrease ease of assassination at higher levels of spies
