Bad Defect

  • Flux Capacitor now costs 1 unupgraded, down from 2.
  • Flux Capacitor now channels Mayhem orbs for each orb slot when upgraded instead of replacing existing orbs.
  • Connect now draws a card every time you play 2 common cards, down from 3.

Bad Spire

  • Springwater no longer exceeds your hand size when retrieving cards.
  • Panic Tickbox's no attack debuff now properly disappears after 2 turns.

Bad Defect Rewrite

I have manually recovered the source code for Bad Defect by simply rewriting the mod! The newer version has the following balance changes, but may be a bit unstable and buggy. Please report any bugs you find!

  • Mayhem orbs now play the top card of your draw pile at the start and end of your turn.
  • Condensation now blocks for 12(17), up from 7(11).
  • Heap now has a base block of 16(20), up from 12(15).
  • Reflect now costs 0 unupgraded, down from 1.
  • Reflect now channels 2 Echo upgraded, up from 1.
  • Refraction now gains 6(8) Block, up from 4(5).
  • Barrier now blocks for 16(22), up from 14(18).
  • Confuse now costs 1, down from 2.
  • Confuse now channels 2 Mayhem orbs when upgraded, up from 1.
  • Connect now costs 0, down from 1.
  • Expand Memory now costs 0, down from 1.
  • Firewall now grants 6 block per power played, up from 4(6).
  • Firewall is now innate when upgraded.
  • Mirage now costs 0, down from 1.
  • Optimise now draws 4(5) cards, up from 3(4).
  • Overflow now deals 17(22) damage, up from 8(12).
  • Reprieve now grants 2(3) Focus, up from 1(2).
  • Iterate now costs 0, down from 1.
  • Multithread now deals 5(7) damage, up from 4(6).
  • Multithread is now innate.
  • Nova now deals 4(5) damage per power card played, up from 3(4).

Bad Ironclad

  • Cards with the Strike tag from Bad Ironclad now have a clearer line of text to indicate so.
  • Recover now heals 3(4) HP for each time you lost HP from a card (up from 2(3)).
  • Perfected Defend now gains 2(3) additional block per strike card you have (up from 1(2)).
  • Fitness now costs 0 without being upgraded, and now grants 3(5) temporary strength.
  • Overcome now costs 2(1) (down from 3(2)).
  • Repurpose now costs 2(1) (down from 3(2)).
  • Rewound now draws 4 cards unupgraded, and 6 cards upgraded (up from no cards unupgraded and 2 cards upgraded).
  • Flame Aura now deals 6(9) damage (up from 4(6)).
  • The text of the following cards have been changed to clarify their effects: Weapon Stand, Extract Potential.

Bad Silent

  • Adhesive Bandage now upgrades to 6 block (up from 5).
  • Trace now draws 2 cards (up from 1).
  • Phantom now only makes you lose 1 energy (down from 2(1)), and upgrades to not exhaust.
  • Twilight now only requires 9(6) retrieves (down from 15(12)).
  • Revise now costs 0 (down from 2).
  • The Silent now starts with one less pair of Strike and Defend.
  • The text of the following cards have been changed to clarify their effects: Swiftness.

Bad Watcher

  • Reach now costs 0 and deals 3 damage 3(4) times.
  • Disturbance now deals 3(5) damage (down from 4(6)).
  • Heat now applies 6(9) Mark (up from 4(7)).
  • Heavy Smite now has a base damage of 12 (up from 8).
  • Peek now draws 3(4) cards (up from 2(3)).
  • Shock now applies 5(7) mark (up from 4(5)).
  • Aether now blocks for 12 (up from 8).
  • Flame Strike now costs 1 (down from 2).
  • Mastery now applies 4(5) Mark (up from 3(4) Mark).
  • Transfer now gains 2 Vigor for every 3(2) Mark (up from 1).
  • Acupuncture now costs 0 (down from 1).
  • Surge now costs 1(0) (down from 2(1)).
  • Fury now grants 4(6) Vigor when you enter wrath (up from 3(4)).
