Added more “facing” and “facing other way” variants to doors that still needed them

Added Oak variants to all Atlas wood gates and doors

Fixed the default starting direction of some doors (for example Atlas stone doors no longer have the locks on the outside and the sliding window bars on the inside)

Fixed Core Wood Shallow Gable full log variant

Fixed missing name for the Oak variant on the Atlas Wood Gateway

Fixed name issue with the AS Generator and AS Tek Generator

Fixed gaps in the Grid variant on the Core Wood Half Wall

Other misc fixes

Update: 3 Jul, 2023 @ 6:01pm

New Parts added:

Straight Staircases Core (Wood/Stone/Adobe/Metal/Tek) and Atlas (Thatch/Wood/Stone)

Half Staircases Core (Wood/Stone/Adobe/Metal/Tek) and Atlas (Thatch/Wood/Stone)

Half Pillars Core (Wood/Stone/Adobe/Metal/Tek) and Atlas (Thatch/Wood/Stone)

Fence Foundations for Core (Wood/Stone/Adobe/Metal/Tek) and Atlas (Wood/Stone)

Quarter-wide parts (wall, half wall, and ceiling) for Core (Wood/Stone/Adobe/Metal) and Atlas (Thatch/Wood/Stone)

Normal-sloped Roof Rakes for Core Adobe/Stone

A full set of Steep and Shallow roof parts including rakes and eave for Core Wood tier

Added Fence Foundation
- Note: Fence Foundations will not snap to foundations or ceilings, or place freely upon them. I tried to make this work but there are technical issues that may not be solvable. I spent several hours tinkering with ideas and I don’t see enough benefit to pursue it further. They work fine if used for their intended purpose.

New Variants:
- Hybrid wood/thatch variant to all Core Wood roof parts

- New pillar variants for Atlas Wood/Stone pillars

- Ash and Oak variants for Atlas Wood gateframes

- “Wood Topped” rail variants to Core Stone half walls

- “Block” variants to Atlas Stone foundations, ceilings, and most walls.

- “Sandstone” variants to Adobe foundations, ceilings, and most walls.

- “Crenellated” variants for Core and Atlas stone walls (Full and Half wall)

Fixes:

Fixed incorrect model on Core Wood inverted triangle roof

Fixed item names for the Atlas Thatch staircases

Fixed snap issue when snapping Eaves to the bottom of Triangle Roof Caps

Fixed snap issues between ceilings and pillars

Fixed snap issue between Sloped Half Walls and Corner/Valley roofs

Fixed snap issue between pillars and triangle ceilings

Improvements:

Improved snapping of Fence Supports to each other, and same for Fence Foundations. They’ll snap to each other more easily without as much fiddling around trying to find the right spot.

Sloped Half walls can now snap to Corner/Valley roof parts. They also now have high and low snapping when snapping to the edges of roofs.

Players can now jump over half walls more easily.

Pillars can snap to Fence Supports, and Fence Foundations.

Filled in the weird holes on Core Stone railing parts

Sloped half walls can now snap to corner/valley roof/stair parts.

Thanks to EddyChomps as always for helping with materials. He adjusted the Atlas wood gateframes/pillars, and helped make the Atlas Stone Block variant material.

Final Note:
Arkitect Structures is a little over one year old now. What a ride it's been so far. Some fun numbers/stats on the current state of AS:

Core Mod:
454 structure parts
830 models

Atlas Mod:
266 structure parts
550 models

Glass update

Added 2 new Window Walls: Core Wood and Core Adobe

Added new Glass Styles to glass wall parts and window panes, including "Lattice" styles and Stained Glass

Added missing item for Atlas Wood Window Wall to the Atlas crafting bench

Massive thanks to MrRadioactiv, JunoBlade, and EddyChomps for their work on the new glass styles. MrRadioactiv made the fancy material and 3 of the stained patterns. JunoBlade made the other patterns, and Eddy helped me bring it all together and polish things.

Update: 15 May, 2023 @ 12:44am

Fixed issue with missing/duplicate metal roof items in AS:Core crafting crafting table

Fixed issue with Canvas Glass ceiling parts

Update: 7 May, 2023 @ 8:16pm

Added Steep and Shallow roof parts for the following tiers:
- Atlas Thatch
- Atlas Wood Glass

Added Roof Rakes, and a Roof Eave for the Atlas Thatch tier (I have no plans to add them to any of the glass tiers).

Added new "Borderless" options to the Atlas Wood square ceiling and square foundations

Added a new "Window Wall" for both of the Stone tiers and the Atlas Wood tier.
- These walls are visually quite different from the existing Glass Tier window parts I added previously. They have a variety of window variants that allow you to build windows of any height.
- They are unlocked with the normal stone/wood tier engrams, not the glass tier engrams. As a trade-off, these windows do not provide greenhouse effect.

Added Arrow Loop variants to both stone tier 1x1 walls.

Added Embrasure Variant to Core Metal 1x1 wall.

Fixed snap points between shallow/steep roof rake ridges and shallow/steep gable peaks

Fixed other misc. snap issues

Fixed color regions on Atlas Wood square/tri ceilings and ceiling hatchway

Fixed missing variant on Steep Metal Triangle Roof

Fixed misc. collision issues on certain roof variants

Fixed some of the parts from the various glass tiers not providing greenhouse effect. Keep in mind that the new “Window Walls” are not part of the glass tiers, and by design do not provide greenhouse effect. So it isn’t a bug, so please don't report it.)

Roof Update, Part 1

New Parts: Shallow and Steep Roof Parts

Full sets of Shallow and Steep roof parts for the following tiers:
- Core Metal
- Atlas Stone
- Atlas Wood
All the remaining tiers in Core and Atlas will get done over the next month or two

Full sets of steep and shallow gables have been added to ALL existing AS tiers.
- I wanted to get them all done so it's easier to, for example, use the Steep Atlas Wood roofs with Core Wood or Core Stone walls, even if the steep/shallow roofs aren't done yet for those tiers. It increases the build variety as much as possible while I continue to work on the rest of the roof tiers.

Rakes and Eaves:
- Eaves aka overhangs for roof parts. They have angle variants and "Awning" variants.
- Rakes aka "side overhangs". They have "extended" variants that can fill the corner where rakes and eaves meet.

New Glass Setting:
Added "Waviness" slider to the Glass Settings menu. Does not apply to Canvas-Glass parts.

New Ini Option:
DisableDestroyedMeshes=false
- False by default. If true, AS structures will not explode into tiny bits when destroyed. They will simply vanish. You will still hear the explosions. The intent of this option is to reduce or eliminate the possibility of crashing your game by destroying a large base too quickly.

Snap Improvements:
- AS Triangle Ceilings can now snap their corners to any pillar
- Any pillar can now snap to the corners of AS Triangle Foundations and Ceilings, and Center/Corner snap cycling on AS pillars will work with AS triangles now
- AS Triangle and Inverted Triangle roofs can now snap sideways to gables and inverted gables.
- AS Gables can now snap to the sides of triangle and inverted triangle roofs.

Misc:
- Increased placement distance for window panes

Bug Fixes:
- Ladders and Window Panes can be placed further from foundations now, if Additional Support Distance ini has been used to extend foundation support.
- Various snap point bugs
- Fixed collision on Triangle roof ridge variants
- Fixed Ash rotated variant on Atlas Wood Triangle Foundation

Known Issues:
- Some of the steep and shallow gables will look wrong in the paintbrush 3d preview menu. This is because the paintbrush menu is dumb and doesn't realize I scaled and rotated those models. I may or may not fix the issue later. Doing so would require making custom models that are pre-scaled and pre-rotated, which would increase mod size.
- Some of the normal inverted gables probably don't look inverted in that menu either. Again, paintbrush menu is dumb.

Thanks:
Thanks to EddyChomps for setting up the glass material to support adjustable waviness. You rock, buddy.

Thanks to Pullourpo for making a "dev mod" that greatly sped up/simplified the icon-making process.

Request:
(What's this? A modder making a request to the players?!)
- I would enjoy it immensely if more people would join my discord and share what they build with AS in the Show and Tell channel, especially now that I'm rolling out the steep/shallow roof parts. A lot of work goes into these mods, and I'm happy to work on them, but seeing people's builds really helps keep me motivated. Don't be shy.
- Alternatively, if you have an active discord already, with a show and tell channel for builds, invite me! I'd love to see them.

Update: 2 Feb, 2023 @ 2:31pm

New Variants:
- Planed variants for Core Wood Doors and Window Hatches (planed on both sides)
- No Bottom and Sides Only scaffold variants for Atlas Thatch wall and half wall

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed no collision on retired Rail parts
- Fixed Oak Rail variant on Atlas Wood Half Wall

Known Issues:
- The variants are a little out of order on some parts, like the Core Wood walls (scaffold variants are not grouped together, etc). I'll fix it in the next big update

Update: 30 Jan, 2023 @ 11:54pm

Odds and Ends, Part 2

New Parts (Core):
- Staircases
- Sloped Half Walls with rail varaint
- Roof doorways and roof doors

New Thatch Parts (Atlas):
- Stairs
- Staircases
- Sloped Half Wall with rail variant
- Rail variant for Half wall
- Pillar
- Ladder

New Variants:
Atlas Wood tier variants
- All the existing variants are now called "Ash" (as in Ash wood)
- Added more Frame variant options on full wall
- Added frame variants for half wall and window frame
- New "Oak" versions of every appearance, for every wood part

New thin pillar options for Core pillars (Wood, Adobe, Stone, and Metal)

New scaffold options for full and half walls ("No Bottom" and "Sides Only")

New "Planed on Top" variants for Core Wood stair parts

New "Bars" variants on Core Metal Window Pane and Atlas Wood Window Pane

New variants for Core Wood and Stone Fence Supports

New Variant system features:
AS Structures will now show their current variant when looking at them, if they have variants.

Updated multiple aspects of the Variant system to support large numbers of variants on individual parts.

Updated the Structure Variant mode on the Structure Gun
- It now only highlights structures that have variants
- Shooting a structure with Left click, with no variant currently copied, will open the new Variant menu. It can be more convenient and faster to find the variant you want this way, on structures with lots of variants.
- Scrolling up and down while pointing the gun at a structure will still cycle through that structure's variants if you prefer doing it that way.

Model reworks:
- Tweaked foundation meshes to be more seamless with walls snapped to them
- Fixed weird shading on Core stone walls
- Optimized Atlas Stone walls

Misc:
Dedicated rail parts have been retired. Their models are now variants on the half walls and sloped half walls. Existing rails will still exist, but can no longer be crafted.

Re-added pickup ini, but changed the way it works
AllowPickupState=(0, 1, or 2)

0 - Obey the official pickup ini
1 - Disable pickup for AS parts, ignore official pickup option
2 - Enable pickup for AS parts, ignore official pickup option

Bug Fixes:
Fixed a few issues with the water/electric junctions

Junction placement rules have been altered slightly.
- By default they require placing within a small range of any tribe owned foundation.
- That restriction has been broadened to include tribe owned pillars, walls, ceilings, and roofs.
- This will allow you to place junctions higher up in your buildings, and also just allow more variety in how you run your junctions from a water source to your base (if running over a great distance)

Various snap point fixes

Center/Corner snap cycling should work properly again when snapping pillars to square ceilings

Fixed crafting cost of the Metal Square Glass Ceiling

Thanks to Eddy for coming up with the "Oak" material for the new Atlas wood variants
