Difficulty Settings Renamed:
Should be easier to read the important information in the selection menu now

The first two letters are recommended AI settings i.e. Lo for Lord, Ki for King
B designates how many additional bosses are forced to spawn in base defenders/spawns
U designates how many additional units are spawned for base defenders/spawns

Major Balance Change (End Game Spawn Strength Adjustments):

For reference:
Note that the stacks listed below are the strongest combinations possible for the stated amount of spawn points, spawns can still have varying troop combinations within these parameters.

Harder difficulties will decrease the turn time before spawns reach full strength, and will allow them to scale higher up to 6xTier IV spawns.

World Ender Spawns:
1260 points = 6xTier IV stack on ‘Tier II Attack Protocol: Normal 1.5x’ difficulty
1260 points = 3xTier IV 1xTier III 2xTier II stack on base game ‘Normal 1x’ difficulty

High Strength Spawns – Destroyer and Territorial:
900 points = 3xTier IV 3xTier III stack on ‘Tier II Attack Protocol: Normal 1.5x’ difficulty
900 points = 2xTier IV 1xTier III 1xTier II 2xTier I stack on base game ‘Normal 1x’ difficulty

Standard Strength Spawns – Raiders, Wanderers:
810 points = 2xTier IV 4xTier III stack on ‘Tier II Attack Protocol: Normal 1.5x’ difficulty
810 points = 2xTier IV 2xTier II 2xTier I stack on base game ‘Normal 1x’ difficulty

Trailing Strength Spawns – Annoyance:
720 points = 1xTier IV 5xTier III stack on ‘Tier II Attack Protocol: Normal 1.5x’ difficulty

Spawn Final Multiplier Changes:

World Enders:
Max Proportion to Add (Spawn Strength): Reduced from 8.65 to 6.3

Destroyer:
Max Proportion to Add (Spawn Strength): Reduced from 2.8 to 1.2

Raiders:
Max Proportion to Add (Spawn Strength): Reduced from 12 to 8

Territorial:
Max Proportion to Add (Spawn Strength): Reduced from 5.2 to 2.8

Annoyance:
Max Proportion to Add (Spawn Strength): Reduced from 15 to 10.2

Wanderer:
Max Proportion to Add (Spawn Strength): Reduced from 1.5 to 0.5

Note, this won’t change the rate of strength gain of the spawns (won’t affect pacing).
It will affect their final strength though.
Spawns will continue to regenerate after reaching maximum strength, which will hopefully refresh the stacks with slightly different configurations.

The main purpose of this balancing pass is to allow for proper use of the difficulty settings, and allow players of all types to enjoy the content with the level of challenge that they choose.
Not every game will end in a horde of spawns ramping to Tier IV units now, there should be much more variety depending on difficulty chosen.


Spawn Unit Set Changes:
Updates made to Dragons Den, Monsters Den, Brigands, and Mud Pit.
Changes are mainly around adding some higher tier units to their stacks to allow them to scale with other spawn groups, as well as adding a little more flavour to the spawn points.

Changes – Structure Defender Strength increase:

All Very Weak, Weak, and Medium strength Defenders had strength increased by 25%.

All Strong, and Very Strong strength Defenders had strength increased by 25%.

Any Defenders with spawn defenders less than 4 units, had their unit count increased by 1 unit.
i.e. 3 unit spawn becomes 4 units.

Bug Fixes:
Rectified sleep chances and behaviour ranges for Territorial and Destroyers, these had reverted to default values when their behaviours were changed.

Changes Behaviours:
Another balancing pass mainly looking at increasing the growth rate of Raiders and Annoyance behaviour groups. They stayed too weak too long.
To balance this, most groups are having their behaviour range reduced to help preserve the AI. And the annoyance group has been assigned Brigand behaviour making it less aggressive but more… annoying.
Should still have a good quantity of spawns without the player or AI getting overwhelmed too early.

Behaviour Range: Reduced from 100 to 80

Destroyer:
Behaviour Range: Reduced from 30 to 20

Raiders:
Defender Strength Multiplier: Increased from Strong x1 to Strong x1.4
Timer Option: Changed from On Spawned Unit Death, to Despawn Units
Behaviour Range: Reduced from 60 to 40
Value Proportion Per Spawn: Increased from 0.4 to 0.5
Max Proportion to Add: Increased from 11 to 12

Territorial:
Behaviour Type: Changed from Brigand back to Patrol
