Patch Notes:

Copy Ability Stuff
~ When selecting an ability in Training Mode, the icon for the ability will show next to the name of the Copy Ability when browsing Abilities.
~ The name of Kirby’s current Copy Ability will briefly show on his hud (above the icon) when he gets one from an opponent.

Neutral Special (Inhale)
~ Adjusted inhale grab hitbox to not reach behind Kirby as much, but is now more properly placed around Kirby’s mouth.
~ Fixed an “issue” with Kirby’s eyes in the first frame of Inhale not having a hurtbox (they actually were a part of the hurtbox but weren’t recolored properly).
~ Bug Fix: When Kirby trades with someone else’s attack with his Inhale grab hitbox, Kirby will no longer grab the people as he gets knocked back. Now, Kirby will drop the opponent as he gets knocked back.

Patch Notes:

Animations / Visuals / Misc.
~ Added character select sound.
~ Corrected landing lag animation.
+ Added an idle fidget, which is based on one of Kirby’s idle fidgets in the games.
~ Fixed the character select image from having some black outline pixels actually be the same color as Kirby’s eye (this is most noticeable on alts that recolor Kirby’s eyes to be full colored, like the Shadow Kirby and Meta Knight colors).
~ Fixed the “Golden” color from having rainbow colored feet. (I think this was a leftover from when Kirby was originally going to have a rainbow color. Not sure how this went unnoticed for this long.)
~ When playing online, the horizontal offset for the alternate color names is moved slightly to the right to not be covered up by the icon.
~ Holding Taunt in the air now gets rid of your current Copy Ability slightly faster.
- Kirby’s hurtbox is now very slightly increased in size.
- Kirby’s hurtbox now also slightly increases in size while in hitstun, making him easier to hit.

Jab
+ Jab 1 and Jab 2 SDI Multiplier: 2.0 -> 1.0
+ Rapid Jab SDI Multiplier: 2.0 -> 1.15
(IDK why these multipliers were even here. You could easily escape the Jab combo, even starting from Jab 1, making it unreliable to use.)

Forward Tilt, Down Tilt
~ Adjusted dust effects.

Up Strong (Needle)
~ Adjusted sweetspot hitbox placement.

Neutral Air
~ Adjusted sound effects.

Up Air
+ Startup: 10 -> 9
- Endlag: 10 -> 11
- Clean Hit Base Knockback: 8 -> 7.5
- Clean Hit Knockback Scaling: .8 -> .75
- Late Hit Base Knockback: 7 -> 6.5
(this move was kinda silly lol)

Neutral Special (Inhale)
~ Completely reanimated the startup, inhale and endlag animations for this move to not be just one frame stretched out to be an entire “animation”.
- Windbox no longer affects players who are in their tech animations.
- Inhale Hitbox is now moved much closer to Kirby and is slightly smaller, preventing it from being partially disjointed and completely beating out trades.
- When this move gets parried, Kirby now instantly goes into the move’s endlag.
~ When landing inhale, the windbox now properly disappears.
- Inhale Hitbox Damage: 5 -> 3
- Spit Hitbox Damage: 10 -> 8
- - Total Inhale + Spit Hitbox Damage: 15 -> 11
- Spit Hitbox Angle: 40 -> 45
(This move was kinda cheesy with sucking and spitting. These changes should make Kirby overall less reliant on winning neutral with just Inhale and make him use it more in a healthy manner and methodically.)

Forward Special (Wheel)
- When this move is parried, Kirby will now instantly stop and go into endlag rather than going immediately into parry stun.
~ Adjusted dust effects.

Up Special (Jet)
~ When retaining the charge for this move, Kirby’s outline will now properly flash instead of being a static color, with the flash being more gradual depending on the level of charge.
~ Added dust effects when charging on the ground and flying.

Down Special Air (Stone)
- Endlag: 16 -> 20
- Kirby no longer has soft armor when exiting Stone form.
~ Certain Stone transformations will now face left when Kirby starts the move when facing left.
~ Added another Stone transformation.
(The additional stone transformation was already in Kirby’s files, but wasn’t showing up because there was an older stone strip in his files that just overwrote it.)

Copy Ability: Water
~ Added dust effects.
- Lowered speed during endlag: 8 HSP -> 5.5 HSP

Copy Ability: Drill
+ Burrowing underground now gives you projectile invincibility as well as a soft armor amount of 4.
