  • Minor fix to general coding mistakes that might prevent weapons from being equipped.

  • Implimented Ability Tags for Custom Abilities - Custom Abilities changed in XComKPPShockTrooperSkills.ini will now reflect when viewing the abilities.

  • Fixed an issue that wouldn't show "Frontline Training" in Crit Bonuses at Tier 3.

  • Minor change to "Grenade Belt" description. - Will look better with the Ability Tag Changes

The class has finally reached a finalized state that I am happy with, there shouldn't be any major updates in the future, but if there are issues, they will be patched.

Fixed a typo that made Miniaturized Munitions not appears at 5-7 AWC.

Grenadier Update:


Removed Prep for Entry from Lieutenant. - Replaced with Custom Ability.
Prep for Entry now provided at Squaddie in the XCOM slot.

Removed Miniaturized Munitions from Colonel - Replaced with Custom Ability.
Removed Reconnoiter from Captain. - Replaced with Custom Ability.
Removed Lock'n'Load from 5-7 AWC - Replaced with Miniaturized Munitions

Nerfed Defense bonus from Frontline Training to 5 (from 10).
Nerfed Mobility bonus from Frontline Training to 2 (from 3).
Replaced Imposition with "Quick Load" for Frontline Training Rank 3. - Considering the class usually relies on flanking targets and immediately killing them, this perk should help with the intended playstyle.

Added a few custom abilities.
Added "Breaching Entry" at Lieutenant - Upgrades and Replaces Prep for Entry, no longer reduces the range of the grenade thrown.
Added "Proximity Explosives" at Captain - Gain 2 Proximity Mines.
Added "Quick Load" at Rank 3 Frontline Training - Whenever Hunkering Down, gain +1 Ammo.

Added "Grenade Belt" at Colonel - Gain 3 custom grenades that have special effects, each have an 8 turn cooldown. Prep for Entry and Breaching Entry do not work with these grenades. Additionally gain extra grenade charges.
"Pulse Grenade" - Throw a Grenade that stuns enemies for 1 turn, deals 4-6 damage.
"Mist Grenade" - Throw a Grenade that blinds enemies for 1 turn, deals 2-4 damage.
"Warp Grenade" - Throw a Grenade that shreds 4 armor, deals no damage.
Each of these Grenades have different blast radius. - These grenades might currently not be balanced with the Recharge perk existing at Colonel, if too strong, they'll need to have increased cooldowns or some reduction to effects.

Updated Description to be in line with my previously updated mods.
Fixed typos in original description.
Added new images.

General patches to Abilities and AWC pricing

Reduced weight of soldier to make them less common than base proficiency soldiers (able to be changed in ClassData.ini)

General patches:

Fixed typo that caused MZArcBlueActions to not be provided at Proficiency Level 2

Added compatibility with Iridar's Automatic Reload, Rapid Stun should work as intended with the mod, not forcing a reload

Added compatibility with Cost Based Ability Colors, Rapid Stun will give base Arcthrower Stun, EMPulsar, and Chain Lightning the "free action" green color

Changes in code allow users to edit the stat bonuses provided by Frontline Training in config. (Located in XComKPPShockTrooperSkills.ini)

Stat changes don't update the description of Frontline Training Stats.
