Last content update for the foreseeable future.

  • New defensive cards: Steel Barrage, GR-17 and Tentacle Heart.
  • Buffed Afro to have Metallicize as well as Thorns.
  • Buffed Jibber's damage increase back to 3
  • Buffed Scrubb and Ocula's base damage by 2

My main objective this time was making Throw cards easier to understand. I think the new keyword should more effectively communicate that they act as ammunition.

  • Simplified text for Throw cards by changing Merge to Ammo, which covers the infinite upgrades as well as merging
  • Removed Throw card label, they are now referred to as Ammo by other cards
  • Downgraded Protective Tentacle to common, it's more appropriate since I made it weaker

A big update before the end of the year.

New content:

  • New Event: Power Build
  • New Levels: Tutorial, Animated, Code, Trial Of The Mind
  • New Attack: Explosive Peanut
  • New Skill: Devexit
  • New Power: Battle Theme

Fixes:
  • Fixed Level card rewards (from Employee/Graduate/Follow) being lost if you quit/restart in the combat reward screen.
  • Employee/Graduate should no longer trigger if you flee with Smoke Bomb.
  • Hoarding should no longer trigger if you have 0 Intelligence.
  • Peanut's Retain should no longer trigger if you have 0 cards in hand.
  • Having multiple Metroidvanias should no longer make powerups be counted twice.
  • Changed Awakening's logic to hopefully prevent its cost from being reset.

Changes:
  • Removed "Enemy" tag from Attacks to simplify things. Brawler, Robo Factory and Baddie Eyeswitch affect all Attacks now.
  • Nerfed Stacking Boxes to make it a bit easier to understand. The old upgrade felt unnecessary and I didn't like the long text.
  • Changed Tentacle Monster into a skill to remove awkward number interactions.
  • Made Bomb's secondary damage apply to all enemies instead of just "neighbors".
  • Minor text tweaks to Ribbon Hunter and Mining.

  • Updated Vacrat/Armor descriptions to clarify that they count as Strike/Defend for the Vampire event and Pandora's Box.
  • Made Vacrats count as Strike for Perfected Strike.

  • Added visual effect for Tiptow.
  • Added new Power card: Refueling.
  • Changed Package Bump upgrade.
  • Increased Collectathon cost to 4 and it now gives the relic immediately.
  • Increased Ribbon Hunter cost to 1.
  • Employee effect should no longer trigger when opening a boss chest since it does not give card rewards.
  • Peanut should now only retain cards for the current turn even if you use them.
  • Changed many cards to Common. I think the low number of Common cards contributed to the card pool feeling small.
  • Fixed some card visual nitpicks.
